    I need help! ... I am a youth pastor... who thought he was up to date on just about everything technology.... but low and behold... I missed something huge.
    WHAT IS A BLOG?
    I keep hearing that term on the radio... online, etc., but no one ever has been able to explain it to me.... so... I am throwing myself at the mercy of those younger... and unfortunatly wiser than I.
    pls help :eek:

    Blogs are updated regularly, like a personal journal, with a person's thoughts and comments about any subject they want. Check out blogger.com for some examples, but there are lots of similar sites. I don't know what "My space" is.

    Some people put ads on their blogs and get paid that way. Only a few really big bloggers would be able to make enough to get by on from blogging alone. These are usually the blogs of political pundits.

    Here's the blog of Blogs4God, which bills itself as "a semi-definitive list of Christians who blog."

    Here's the link to the community page for the Blogdom of God at the Truth Laid Bear Ecosystem. You'll find a list of 4000 or so blogs on the right hand side.
