    They are basically a place for you to share your thoughts, links, etc. with the world. I have my blog online at http://jgrubbs.blogspot.com/

    There are different ways to get a blog online, I use Blogger.com for my blog, which is owned by Google.

    Hello TomVols,

    I have recently begun blogging myself and it is a very interesting undertaking. Some people use it to journal their thoughts and do not write necessarily as though others are reading it. Then others are using blogs to provide a platform from which to publish their views. There are some very interesting reads out their.     You can also check out my site.. it's a different type of setup, but it's still a blog. I just post whenever I find something I want to talk about, like this morning I posted about Windows XP Service Pack 2 upgrade.. just something I thought was interesting..

    Our student ministry website has been set up like a blog. It's taken a while for some of the students to hop on board (and begin making comments), but it's a lot easier to maintain as far as calendar stuff.
