I agree. They've shown just how much they really care about America. NOTHING.

I hope you are right Rev and if so I hope it endures.

But if and when Hillary is paraded out and glamorized by the press I'm wondering if the American citizenry will be as mesmerized by her as they were by president Obama (remember Chris Matthews and "I felt this thrill going up my leg").

Although she can be rather shrill... "What difference at this point does it make?” and will probably need a make-over.

By a 22-point margin (53-31 percent), the public blames the Republican Party more for the shutdown than President Barack Obama, according to a new NBC/Wall Street Journal poll. That’s a wider margin of blame for the GOP than the party received during the last shutdown in 1995-96.

Under more typical circumstances, President Obama wouldn’t be too thrilled with his 47-percent approval rating here. But compared to House Speaker John Boehner (17 percent), Sen. Ted Cruz (14 percent), the Republican Party (24 percent), and the tea party (21 percent), Obama’s number in the NBC/WSJ poll is positively stratospheric.

There's a job opening at the White House for a spin doctor. Speed your resume there forthwith, as classifying a 44% rating in a poll done before last week ...

... as "statospheric" is one of the most monumental spin jobs ever attempted. They'll love you for it, even if it is an epic fail, given all the polls taken last week or later put Obama at 35-37%. Dream on, liberal, dream on.

Post a link to a more current objective national poll to support your claim. You can't seem to deal with facts only Fox News propaganda.

Maybe the socialist NPR will meet with your approval?

Note that even though they touted the GOP's "lowest approval numbers in years" but couldn't escape the fact the Great Pretender's numbers were also the lowest of his reign -- er, presidency. So stuff it, FTW, you already knew this.

No you stuff it crossways, and stop making others think there is a difference between the RINOs you support and the Democrat agenda. So what is your standard, holding up a 5% approval rating with pride?

Perhaps it is, but routing out the progressives (Chief is Carl Rove) and establishing a conservative agenda would be better than a third party thrust. IMO Or are you advocating abandoning the cause?

How do you vote for/choose evil? The church did similarly with abortion and homosexuality, and we see how they turned out. Oh yeah, someday when the Supreme's have a majority of conservatives we'll repeal Roe v Wade. Sure we will..

Been reading here a bit, and not much has changed while I've been elsewhere.

Yes, if in a fantasy world, it were possible to return the Republican Party to a Constitutional and conservative majority, that would effect change quicker, as the machinery is already established. However, since 1988, the party has been on a downhill liberal slide. The question is, what will work? Is it changing the party, or getting rid of the GOP and starting over?

With the example on this board, which I assume is a cross section of America, I see little evidence that any of the present Republican supporters are interested in the Constitution or being conservative. They are more interested in supporting the milquetoast leadership in Congress and creating a gap between them and Obama that is not there.

As obviously stated in the post, the point is the Great Pretender's obvious decline in popularity, his numbers representing a far greater fall than those of the GOP. And you keep insisting I'm defending people I'm not defending. What part of "throw 'em all out" in one of my recent threads did you fail to grasp?
