I don't know, but they could get some dna from that bone and clone an apostle, hmm.

How do they know it wasn't just a bone from a pre-historic pot luck?

It gives new meaning to "I have a bone to pick with you." Except they don't have a bone now.

I don't know much about Greek Orthodox, but I do know that the RCC is big on relics, collects them, most(if not all) churches have some relic(usually not on display), a suposed bone of an apostle, saint, or part of the 'actual' cross. So this may have something to do with why they had this bone.
Of course how can they possibly know it is from the person they think it is?

I have heard that there are sufficient pieces of the cross scattered throughout Catholic churches to reconstruct Noah's Ark.

It pays to have a bone or two hanging around. I know for our church, there are some days we only have a skeleton crew working.

Yeah, but with our luck, we'd have Judas Iscariot's thighbone. :D :D

(tap tap) Is this thing on? Yeah, folks, I'll be here all week. Be sure and tip yer waitresses.:applause:
