I'm writing a paper for my theology class about the importance of attending church. I am looking for recommendations for books that discuss church attendance, either for Christians in general or more specifically Baptists.

    Thanks!

I don't know of any books that just focus on the importance of attending church. But can point you to at least three books that talk about how successful churches bring people in, keep them attending, and the impact that those churches are on the kingdom.

    They are:

    Effective Evangelistic Churches

    High Expectations

    Surprising Insights from the Unchurched

All three are from Thom Rainer's survey group at Southern Seminary in Louisville (SBC). There is a lot of good information in them that may be helpful.

Thanks for responding, I'll take a look at those books. [IMG]
