I have not got to any college games yet, but I cannot wait for March Madness, one of my favorite times of the year!

I was going to go to the Hawaii and Wisconsin-Milwaukee game, but had a church event to go to so watched it on tv. It was a pretty good game with Hawaii coming up a tad short. Hawaii will be a team to watch next year.

What about Utah? One of the so-called experts on ESPN states there're one of the best teams in country, a possible final four. Shades of The BCS flap in college football.

My UTEP Miners lost to Pacific and will probably end up in the NIT. Not too bad for a team without any true big men inside. Next year they move to Conference USA, which is a huge step up in TV exposure and quality of the league (UTEP plays in the WAC), even though a few of the teams are moving over to the Big East.

Well, I guess I put the SI Whammy on Utah. After winning 18 straight, they were upset by New Mexico. Still think they're a sweet sixteen team.
