I guess those clowns don't realize how dangerous it is to give a power hungry wannabe dictator more power.

While the left was obsessing over a piece of cloth, an unholy alliance of Obama and republicans sold out our sovereignty.

    We will all regret it.

This trade deal, shrouded in secrecy, is an example of one of the things we fought against in 1776. Our country was founded on the belief that an open, free exchange of ideas makes us all better. President Obama, likewise, campaigned on the promise that his would be the most open administration in the history of the union. On this point he has utterly failed, to the chagrin of many hardcore Dems I know.

This trade deal needs to be tabled until it can be completely read, completely debated, and completely accounted for. I might be for it...heck, it might be a good thing...but I will always stand against secretive documents and legislation as it is inherently anti-American.

There has been no deal made nor negotiated as of yet. What was voted on what the authority to make negotiations. The final agreement has to go back through congress when it is finished.

The Senate Passes Fast Track—But We Can Still Prevent the TPP Train Wreck

The U.S. Senate has paved the way for the passage of Fast Track legislation, to give the White House and the U.S. Trade Representative almost unilateral power to negotiate and finalize secret anti-user trade deals like the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). Yesterday a “cloture” vote was held—this was a vote to end debate on Fast Track and break any possibility for a filibuster, and it passed by the minimum votes needed—60 to 37. Today, the Senate voted to pass the legislation itself. TPP proponents only needed 51 votes, a simple majority, to actually pass the bill, and they got it in a 60 to 38 vote. Following months and months of campaigning, Congress has ultimately caved to corporate demands to hand away its own constitutional mandate over trade, and the President is expected to the sign the bill into law as early as tonight or later this week.

Despite this defeat, our fight against undemocratic, corporate-driven trade agreements should not be counted as a failure.

How would Americans know? We're too enamoured with confederate flags, Bruce Jennder, and a whackjob who thinks she is black to notice.

TRANSATLANTIC GLOBAL GOVERNANCE: A REGIME CHANGE OR COUP BY ANY OTHER NAME

    By Paul McGuire
    June 22, 2015
    NewsWithViews.com

After six decades the Republican Party is ready to grant fast track “trade promotion authority” that will allow for the emergence of the Transpacific Partnership and a transatlantic global governance agreement. Although these secret treaties are called “free trade” agreements, they are actually a Trojan Horse designed to do an end run around the Constitution and bring in global governance.

The individual and sovereign nations of Europe were destroyed by a series of “harmless” trade treaties that created the European Union. When the citizens of the European nations finally woke up it was too late because they had legally handed over their freedoms. The exact same stealth strategy of secret trade treaties is being used by American politicians on the left and the “right” to force America to come under the rule of global governance, which was formerly called global government. The reason that the trade treaties are secret is because there are powerful people who do not want you to know that they are designed to destroy our prosperity, our freedom, and our sovereignty.

$200 million went to house members to pass fast track

Many think our government is for sale. However, by taking a look at the facts below provided by Open Secrets, it is easy to understand where they are coming from.

Looking back at Friday the 12th, the House voted on Trade Promotion Authority (TPA), the controversial bill that gives power to the executive branch to negotiate treaties. TPA limits Congress’ ability to better a trade deal by subjecting members of Congress to 90 days of reviewing the trade agreement, prohibiting any amendments on the implementing legislation, and giving them an up or down vote.

TPA passed with a mere 219-211 vote with only 218 needed to pass. The real shocker comes from the amount of money each Representative received for a yes vote. In total, $197,869,145 was given to Representatives for a yes vote where as $23,065,231 was given in opposition.

John Boehner (R-OH) received $5.3 million for a “yea” vote and was the highest paid legislator.
Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) received $2.4 million for his “yea” vote.
Paul Ryan (R-WI) received $2.4 million for a “yea” vote and came in at the third highest paid legislator.
Pat Tiberi (R-OH) follows Paul Ryan, coming in the fourth spot having received $1.6 million for his “yea” vote.

The fifth highest paid legislator is somewhat of a “hero” in comparison to others. Representative Steny Hoyer (D-MD) received $1.6 million for a yes vote and only $282,710 for a no vote. Despite his high contribution from those in favor of TPA, he still voted a solid nay.

We also have other hero stories.
