As tears are streaming down my cheeks I must thank all of you for your kind words and sentiments and sympathy to this unworthy brother who tries to serve God the best he knows how.

I consider all of you my friends even when you don't agree with me :D ... I really don't know what kind of condition I would be in right now if it were not for this board?... Maybe that is the reason God lead me here so we could get to know each other through good and bad.

I've seen acts of charity on here for me and others and people say there is no God... Look around you FOOL he is everywhere!

Now it is just me and my 22 year old deaf son Travis... I'm Daddy and Mother now... I guess God knew I would do a good job so he left me here... He will take me when he needs me... Until then I will just wait and continue on my journey... Can't think of leaving Travis or any of my family and friends but God will see to him and life will go on and always has.

Until then I guess you are stuck with me... until they give me the boot  ... Watch it :D ... I know there are some on here that are in the same boat... Having lost someone so dear to their heart... Their soulmate only them and I understand the sadness and emptyness but thank you all from the bottom of my heart... soul and spirit for your words and tokens of understanding.

I want to thank so many but the list is to long... I've been on here for almost two years and the list is to long... You all know who you are and what you mean to Brother Glen and if you crossed my path even though we have never met personally you are still my friend.

Got a secret to tell you... Brother Glen was not always this way and could argue vehemently just like some that I have seen on here... I was good at that I could hold my own... I'm not the man I am because I made myself but owe half of me to my wife Charlotte... The better half!... Is Woman the weaker vessel?... Not mine!... She gave me the strength... the compassion... and the heart I needed... Not to mention an endless love!... Btw she got all of it from the Lord!

You Men!... For no reason at all give your wives and those you love something nice... Be spontaneous!... With love and shower each other with kisses... You Women!... Likewise!... Love like there is no tomorrow because it comes to soon.

As Christian in Pilgrims Progress... remember Brother Glen in your prayers... With his burdens on his journey to the Holy City... If I never meet you here in this life... By the promises of God I will see you in the next!... I will be the one standing next to Charlotte [IMG] ... Brother Glen [IMG] & [IMG] Sister Charlotte [IMG]

What touching words Brother Glen! Words to live by and remember. There are times that I really need to let my husband know more how much he means to me, and treat him like it is our last day. Thank you for those words!
May God continue to comfort you and your son. And shower you with His love and blessings!

God bless you, and thank you for blessing me today!

Thank you for your words, Glen. I know it is very difficult to lose someone who is, as you say, your "soulmate." I, myself, hate goodbyes, and am often comforted that "goodbyes" for some--my Christian brothers and sisters--are just "see ya laters." That is the hope we have.

Brother Glen your words are touching. And if this board can be stuck with me, I know they must love you! As long as the lord tarries, you ain't going anywere, cause if ya do, I'll just find ya again! I'm praying for you Brother Glen. I can't imagine losing someone I was so close to. I don't know how I'd handle it, but I guess I want have to worry about that untill it's time for something like that. I guess we don't get grace for something till we need it. I know God will give you grace now, brother Glen. I know HE won't leave you. I know HE will love you through this. How do I know? Cause the Bible says so!
I know saying trust in God, seems like what everyone says. I know I wish I could tell people more than that, but the simple fact is, I and no one else either can heal hurts. No one can do what God can, so that must be why we trust.
You're words were so sweet brother Glen, and they encouraged me. To make the most of each day, cause we don't know for certian about tommorrow. THankyou, dear brother. You are a blessing!

Made me think of this song . . .

If we never meet again, this side of Heaven
as we struggle through this world and its' strife
there's another meeting place, somewhere in Heaven.
By the side of the River of Life.
Where the charming roses bloom forever.
And where separations come no more.
If we never meet again, this side of Heaven.
I will meet you on that beautiful shore.

Thanks for those words, Bro Glen! They are a source of comfort and encouragement to me, as my dear wife of 25 1/2 years has been battling breast cancer for the past year.

If it wasn't for faith in God, and my Christian friends, I'd be a total wreck by now.

“24 The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: 25 The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: 26 The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.” Numbers 6:24-26
