It's the Bush way. When he violated SEC laws when his company went belly up, he blamed his lawyers.

He's not comfortable with personal accountability.

The Baptist Board Bush Bashers never get tired. They have an ideology that reminds one mostly of a closed book. They go on and on like the Germans and the Russians do over who was the worst during WW II. The Baptist Board Bush Bashers will go on as long as they can type and breathe. They have the rest of their lives with nothing better to do than bash Bush.

There are only two sources to trust Poncho.

    Fox News
The BBGBAS (Baptist Board George Bush Adoration Society)

This is the silliest thread I've seen in at least 4 hrs. [IMG]

But I have to ask OR, what do you mean by "four, the number for humanity?"

I wouldn't be surprised if Bush declared a War on Weather in response to Katrina. Too much to expect a War on Climate Change, I guess

How are things in jolly ole England, Matt?

It seems that the people who have been bashing Bush for the last 4 years are now denying that they have ever done it.

What we have, Matt, is a new Baptist denomination--the Bashing Baptists. They have a kind of polity that makes you want to run, not walk, for the nearest exit. These Bashing Baptists like to bash Bush on the Baptist Board. Matt, they seem to be nihilist or reductionists because they sometimes excuse themselves by saying that, yes, they were bashing Bush day and night for 4 years but it was just a little bashing and not the big bashing that we all know they are capapble of.

I don't know about you, Matt, but I admire loyalty more than cleverness. Underneath it all is just the love of money, Matt.

England is fine, thank you - weather is good, the sun is out, you'd scarcely know it was September. I hope you'll agree that I've been consistent in my Bush-bashing for at least the last four years... :D Over here, we're all still a bit bemused by his 'War on Tourism'

    Yup, that's how I got to be a multi-millionaire [IMG] !

Apparently, some would prefer that if one does not have blind loyalty they should never say anything good.

I haven't been bashing Bush here for four years - look at my joined date.

What we have here Matt is a group of members who make up the Baptist Board George Bush Admiration Society who take any negative comments against their man as a personal, hateful, vitriolic attack instead of criticism where he errs. There are some, from all indications, who think that the American president cannot err.

Maybe we BBBer's (Baptist Board Billionaires) ought to join the BGE (Bush/Global Energy PAC) C4K. I hear their members enjoy the best profits and loosest regulations of any elite club in history. Another good investment choice would be the BCMIC (Bush/Carlyle/Military Industrial Complex) Their stock shares have skyrocketed since a loyal family member took seat in the oval office.

Sources? We don't need no steenking sources! [IMG]

Who needs sources Ponch? Just make a claim and yell real loud and call people names if anyone tries to refute it.

    And remember:
    1) Watch Fox only
    2) Listen to the sage wisdom of the BBGBAS
    3) Never, ever, no matter what, question the president. This amounts to bashing.

Be warned - rule #3 liable to change when the new President Clinton takes office in 2009.

And, mysteriously, Rule #3, and its adjunct, rule #3a, "My country, right or wrong" seemed to be suspended between the years 1993 and 2001...

By March 2009 President Bashing will be a favourite past time of the BB.

Those who try to defend any action of her's will be guilty of heinous crimes and denying the faith.

Actually, the price of gasoline, milk, health care, prescription drugs, and housing was lower when Clinton was President.

The price of gasoline, adjusted for inflation, is just now about what it was under Carter [that is post Katrina].

And Reagan, Bush 1, and Bush 2 are not abortionists like the majority of actvist democrats [a polite phrase for the radical left]. The main street democrat is either too dumb, too amoral, or too concerned about his next welfare check to care. He just blindly votes.
