Bush Changing the Course?

    This is from an editorial in the Washionton Post:
    Is this like the ever-changing reason we went to war in Iraq? WMDs, in cahoots with al Qaeda, Kurds killed 20 years before, evil dictator, liberation, terrorists...

    I think the change is too little, too late. I'm old enough to remember when we won wars, at a very heavy price. It started in Viet Nam, with those "protective enclaves" of military bases. Now it is wage war, but don't hurt anyone. All war is evil, but once we're in one, why negotiate? Unconditional surrender seemed like a good idea at the end of WW-II.

    It's tough. How does a Christian support war, when all war is evil. It represents the failure of humankind to seek God first. But not everyone seeks God.

    What's the answer?
