    I like to respond:

As an African-American woman, I find it disgusting that you ( mostly caucasian people) would insult the NAACP because the organization doesn't side with a racist and fascist party like the Republikkkan party. I also must add that the NAACP sides with the liberals more than the conservatives is because its the liberals who are with us on Afirmative Action, Voting Rights, and other issues pertaining to Civil Rights. The conservatives, on the other hand, want to take away every single right we have in order for us to return to the cotton fields and pick for "Masta" Bush and "Masta" Rove and the rest of the racists in the Republikkkan party. It's also the Republikkans, who in the last two re-selections, successfully intimidated black voters in Ohio, like they did in Florida 4 years before, in order to make sure that Bush gets back into the White House. Oh, and let's thank the so-called "Black" Secretary of State in Ohio who became a tool for the Republikkkans and made sure Bush won Ohio.

The Republikkkans never have, nor will they ever, care about African-Americans. By the way, dont even think about using Condi Rice and Clarence Thomas and JC Watts as examples of Repulikkans not being racist by recognizing them in their party, because token Black people for the enemy don't count!

    Peace and God Bless

You sure are full of hatred. HMMMMMMMMM...for a person who claims to be for affirmative action, you sure do have a funny way of showing it. Token Black People? I am guessing that you said that because these blacks are conservatives. How open and tolerant of you. Sounds more racist to me. I bet you call them Uncle Toms too, don't you? That sounds more like something the segregationist Democrats back in the 60's would have said. Let's see here. What party is Senator Robert KKK Byrd a member of? What party was Orval Faubus a member of?

No Republican wants to take away your voting rights. You have been drinking too much Howard Dean kool aid of hate.

The NAACP is not for the advancement of colored people. It is for the advancement of liberal colored people. Therefore, they are a lame duck organization, who are so polarized that they can't get anyone to listen to them, and should be duly ignored.

I am always amazed that some blacks accept only other blacks that are liberals. They refuse to accept a black who is conservative. I am surprised by the sheer intolerance of people who should be at the forefront of promoting tolerance, especially in the area of race, based on their early history on this continent.

I expect that one day the NAALCP will become totally irrelevant to politics in the U.S., if it isn't already.

</font>[/QUOTE]Your comments are so laughable that I almost didn't respond. But since Im doing it anyway here goes:

You are obviously a brainwashed Republikkkan who only listens to Rush and Hannity all day long while curling up in your "Luv Ya W" pjs. I bet the only channel you have on your tv is Fox News since you are only spewing the exact hatred and ignorance they preachon that channel.

As fas as drinking the "Howard Dean" koolaid, I'm enjoying it very much, and wouldn't mind having it as my choice of "beverage."

By the way, Im a Liberal and proud of it! Oh, and another thing, I love listening to Al Franken and Jesse Jackson because they seem sensable.

    Tootles:)

I hope you liberals keep drinking it. As long as ya'll can't separate yourselves from the Howard Dean-moveon.org crowd your side will have a terribly tough time having your presidential candidate darken the White House door.

    Barbie,

You didn't have to tell me you were liberal. I could tell from the level of hate-mongering in your post. You are a bitter, hateful person, and I pray that God will soften your heart. While we're waiting, why don't you get out a history book sometime, look up the names of segregationist governors in the South during the 60's, and tell us which party they were members of? Also, why don't you google Senator Robert KKK Byrd and learn a bit how this Democrat was fighting for you as a former member of the KKK? You hate conservatives, just like Dean. I have no time or need of hate. It just isn't the Christian thing to do:

Ladies and Gentlemen, the New Democrat morality of hate.

Yes, it would be good for her to learn about good ol' "Sheets" Byrd.

In spite of the time he spent helping the KKK keep blacks down as second class citizens, Senator Byrd is the most entertaining U.S. senator to listen to on the Senate floor.

It's interesting that Republicans place more blacks in important positions in government than Democrats do. I guess liberal Democrats talk a good game on race but they just don't follow through on it.

Nope. That is a very common phrase unrelated to skin color. I am surprised that you are not familiar with it.

"Yesterday, NAACP Chairman Julian Bond delivered a speech bashing the Republican party, accusing them of "playing the race card in election after election." This is interesting, because it is Democrats that play the race card in every election, not Republicans.

It is Democrats that insultingly pander to the black community, begging for votes in exchange for welfare spending and hiring quotas. Through the soft bigotry of low expectations, the NAACP and their masters in the Democratic party have become the new pimps in the black community. They want to keep everyone as dependent on government as possible.

Bond continued, further proving his own stupidity and intellectual bankruptcy by saying that the Bush tax cuts were put in place to "further enrich the already wealthy and to starve the government, making it unable to meet human needs." By that statement alone, Julian Bond is now an admitted Communist. After all, he believes it is the job of the government to meet the needs of the people.

Black folks would do well to ignore the NAACP entirely and pay more attention to what people like Bill Cosby, Thomas Sowell and Walter Williams have to say."

I have never heard the phrase "darken the
    white house door"

actually KenH give us a run down on how this
is a common phrase...wouldn't an obvious phrase
have been "cast a shadow onto the white house
    door" but darken?

oh my...come on. That phrase has been around forever. It refers to your shadow darkening the door, and last I checked, shadows arent white or black, just dark.

Come on! we have discussed Robert Byrd and how
he has repented since 1946 to throw that in his
face again is revealing desperation on ya'lls
part..you both have agreed before he has repented
and has grace...even Barak Obama campaigned for
him. Either Byrd who said the Bible was instrumental in showing him to repentance is
right or their is no grace.

    Sean Hannity started
this terrible sin against Byrd by telling half
truths and not the whole truth but of course
he is an entertainer and not a journalist, right!

"darken the door" does squeak by but it does
seem back handed especially in conversation with
a new Afro-American poster here on this board.

    dark•en

    Pronunciation: (där'kun), [key]
    —v.t.
    1. to make dark or darker.
    2. to make obscure.
    3. to make less white or clear in color.
    4. to make gloomy; sadden: He darkened the festivities by his presence.
    5. to make blind.

    —v.i.
    1. to become dark or darker.
    2. to become obscure.
    3. to become less white or clear in color.
    4. to grow clouded, as with gloom or anger.
    5. to become blind.
    6. darken someone's door, to come to visit; make an appearance: Never darken my door again

Maybe You Shouldn't Push THAT Button
Republican Congressman Tom Tancredo (CD-6) has made a name for himself as a one-issue congressman, using any opportunity he can to speak out against illegal immigration. In the process, Tancredo has managed to alienate a number of Republicans, including Karl Rove and President Bush. That doesn't seem to bother "Tom Tom" Tancredo; in fact, he even brags about the time Rove told him to "never darken the door of the White House again."

If anything KenH is taking his que from Benedict
    Rove ;)
