This is a good piece. Thanks for sharing.

The related MSNBC poll has about 65% of respondents agreeing with idea that George W. Bush's religious faith does not inappropriately dictate policy, and that there's nothing wrong with bringing morality to the White House.

Yes, and I also think its about time we evangelicals get behind our president and support him and our troops in their effort to stop Sadaam Hussein.
Seems most of the noise is coming from the left, especially Hellywood. Bush and our men and women in the armed forces must know that we are overwhelmingly behind them and the loudmouth movie and rock stars are a small minority who seem to get all the press.

I wonder if we would be very upset if North Korea really did launch a nuke and it landed in Hollywood on Oscar night? Right in the middle of a Woody Harelson antiwar speech?

Of course I wouldn't want to see that becuase of all you fine people who live in SoCal. But my imagination is piqued...

SoCal, hey that would be me. But I live i a different area code than them...

Seriously though, while I do get tired of the anti-war speeches from prominent actors, I get a little concerned when the pro-war folks equate speaking out against war as being unchristian or ungodly. I may not agree with these folks, but they're entitled to voice their concerns just as much as anyone else. It should not be held against them that the pro-war folks in Hollywood aren't speaking out.

I jsut pray that God gives all Americans the wisdom to do the right thing and for a true revival in this great nation of ours. We are a bunch of spoiled brats and need to open our eyes to the moral responsibilities we face. In war and in peace, we need to be Godly and uphold His principles. This will only happen when Christians kneel and pray and then stand up and proclaim Him everywhere and all of the time. It is encouraging to see our president stand up for Jesus. I am sure that is not easy in DC or SoCal, both hotbeds of liberalism. The rest of us need to follow his example. Thank God for His patience in dealing with our nation of mealy-mouthed, weak-kneed Christians. We need to get a backbone and stand for our rights. Then we would fulfill our responsibility of making disciples of all nations.
(scratching head and wondering why the pulpet keeps showing up. :D )
