You see, that's the rub. I am not sure that even the candidates you want me to vote for would go far enough in their pro-life stance as has been discussed earlier in this thread. Plus, I also realize that a vote for a candidate who cannot win no matter how much I agree with him is a vote for the worst of the three candidates. It would be a vote for a person who will start by overturning the PBA and then run with the ball from their to promote the pro-death machine even further in this country. I don't think I could live with that.

The Republicans and Democrats are destroying our country. Indifference to constitutional government, institutialization of immorality, abortion, out-of-control spending, massive increases in centralized government, etc. etc.

    BOTH parties largely promote this.

There are a few individuals in those parties who are exceptions, and who should be supported.

But to support the rest of them is to support the enemy.

To go over the cliff at 90 mph with a Republican bus driver is unacceptable, even if the Democrat would go 100.

I will no longer support the 90 mph dive, even if it's 10 mph slower. Why be a partaker of their evil deeds.

If the bus goes over the cliff, it won't be because I cheered it along.

I will proudly support candidates who stand frimly for constitutional government and the Christian ideals of our founding fathers. Isn't that what God would expect? Do you think that He will bless A) blatant compromise or B) living (voting) by His princples and leaving the outcome to Him?

This isn't a horse race; there's no prize for "picking the winner".

So, tell me Jim, is there a single candidate running next year who will support the complete banning of abortion for any reason, even to save the life of the mother? Please let me know if there is and show me the evidence. Otherwise, I fear that I would be compromising my stance by voting for them as well, and at the same time, putting a Democrat into office who will drive the bus off the cliff at 100 mph instead of 25 mph like the Constitution Party candidate would? 25, 90, or 100 mph. It doesn't matter. The result will be the same once the bus goes off the cliff.

I must interject this - a Constitution Party president would turn the bus around 180 degrees and go in the opposite direction from the Demopublican candidates - Mr. Bush, Mr. Dean, whoever - at 100 mph.

Okay. I'm back out. Please excuse my interruption. Carry on.

Not by my stricter pro-life standards. But thanks once again for letting me have the last word... ;)

I'm not sure. But unlike truly pro-life candidates, Bush believes in exceptions for rape and incest. And seems to express absolutely no disapproval of the 3500+ murders committed daily.

    [/QB][/QUOTE]

OK, just go ahead and elect, year after year, those who are willing to accept the bloodshed, while pushing practically every other liberal socialist scheme of the Demopublican Party.

At 3500+ per day we'll have racked up quite a total after another 20 or 30 years of these guys.

I'll have worked for and supported voted for pro-lifers, many of whom will have lost. But I will not have been a partaker of the evil deeds of carrer politicians who see abortion as an "issue" to garner votes while doing nothing to stop it.

Your "Bush Republicans" will do nothing to stop it. Trust me, I've been around this for a long time and know the tricks and tactics.
