You KJVOs just won't answer some simple little questions, will you? Michelle, you wrote a fine testimony of faith without making any attempt to answer. A-A, you said you asked me a question I didn't answer & I responded by asking you to please post any question I didn't answer because I might have overlooked it, and I see you've posted since then without making any attempt to answer the simple little questions either. Thanx, for showing us yourselves, with no aid from our side, that your KJVO myth is clueless.

Let's ask another simple little question-Is KJVO of God, or man? Please elaborate.

I answered your initial question WITH SCRIPTURE,if you choose to ignore(reject is more like it) what God says about spiritual discernment-from Scripture- then thats your perogative, take that up with Him...

I did however ask a simple question a number of times,it was never answered;so lets try it again.

Where in the Bible(KJB) does God say it's OK to put Alexandrian Philosophers,Alexandrian Gnostics, and Alexandrian Scholarship(from which 200+ conflicting "bibles" come from,Matt7:20) on a higher level than "thus sayeth the Lord"?

A-Alex. you inadvertently demonstrated human error that can make its way into human translation. You've misquoted the KJV:kjb "thus sayeth the Lord"; it's "Thus saith the LORD." see how human error can even be problematic to the most well intentioned? ;)
As far as your "Guilt by association" argument, Dr Bob has blown apart that myth in the topic he started....

No, you DIDN'T answer. In the Scriptures you posted, there's not one hint of what version(s) one should use. And no, I didn'r reject Scripture; I rejected your interpretation of the Scripture you posted.

I did however ask a simple question a number of times,it was never answered;so lets try it again.

In the same book/chapter where it says, "Thou shalt use the KJV only." In the same book/chapter where it says, "Ye Alexandrian manuscripts art besmirched."

It is the Onlyist who invented the KJVO myth. Let the onlyist now substantiate it. We anti-Onlyismists aren't bringing a man-made doctrine to the table, we're merely rejecting the one brought by the KJVOs because it lacks any proof or evidence for its credibility whatsoever.Again, BY WHOSE AUTHORITY are you KJVO? BY WHOSE AUTHORITY do you tell me I should be?

No, I didn't-YOU did. I answered with some sarcasm, which was apparently over your head, as are many things to many KJVOs. The REAL answer is "Nowhere". You just didn't like my sarcastic answer. Now, are you gonna try to answer the original questions I asked at the beginning of this thread, or not? In case you forgot, they are:

Wanna try to pull the KJVO doctrine from "myth" status? You might start by truthfully answering these BASIC QUESTIONS: BY WHOSE AUTHORITY are you KJVO? BY WHOSE AUTHORITY do you tell me I should be KJVO?

I see Michelle has backed off so far, and several others didn't even wanna try. And some KJVOs wonder why we're so much against their myth? Why, even its supporters cannot identify the source of their claimed authority to believe and advocate such nonsense. And so far you've done no better, A-A. YOU SIMPLY DON'T KNOW, do ya? Be a man and admit it.

Skank is a filthy, vulgar term describing a whore or prostitute, a bottom feeding dreg of humanity.

Do a search on google. Watch for pop-ups of all sorts of filth.

AA - you ought to know better.

Anti-Alexandrian: Yes I SIMPLY DO KNOW..

No, you DON'T, or you'd have given a straight, direct answer instead of this constant spin.

I have posted Scripture to back up that claim and you REJECTED IT...

Wrong again. I rejected your INTERPRTATION of the Scriptures you cited, not the Scriptures themselves. You tried to read something into them that simply isn't there. Scripture should be believed literally as possible, and WE have no right to imply something's in it that isn't even HINTED AT.

There is nothing more I can say....

There's PLENTY more you COULD say if you decide to be honest about it and admit that you have no authority to adopt the KJVO myth and tell me I should adopt it, or at least provide a REAL answer instead of simply posting some Scriptures that are completely irrelevant to the question, hoping to bamfoozle someone.

    By faith

I'm just simply telling you the truth. If you fail to accept it, then this is between you and God.
</font>[/QUOTE]Faith is believing what God says. [IMG] Presumption is believing what you want to believe although God never said it. :(

Deu 18:20 But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.

    I hope everyone notices that-

NO KVJO WILL ANSWER THE QUESTIONS DIRECTLY!

For a long time, we've been rejecting the KJVO myth for lack of justification, and now we give them a golden opportunity to present any evidence to justify their doctrine to raise it above "myth" status, and they don't do it. Far as I'm concerned, ALL their grand arguments, no matter how seemingly-erudite, are as an expensive, complicated electrical/electronic layout WITHOUT A POWER SUPPLY. They simply CANNOT get by the BASICS to provide any justification for their myth besides the words in some man-made book by a human author, building upon a set of suppositions written by a 7th Day Adventist in 1930. In short, KJVO is a MAN-MADE MYTH, entirely devoid of support, and should be abandoned by any Baptist who's fallen for it, and should be attacked by those who haven't.

The proof is in boards, columns, and threads such as this one-THE KJVO SIMPLY WILL NOT ANSWER A BASIC QUESTION ABOUT THEIR MYTH DIRECTLY!! The reason is-HE/SHE HAS NO AUTHORITY FOR THEIR MYTH! I believe many of them know this, but they simply enjoy stirring up strife and debate among the brethren, and gain some measure of entertainment from it, as they ALL can't be so stupid as to believe such a patently-false doctrine. In fact, I doubt is many of them actually DO believe it.

KJVOs, you'd better wake up. This isn't a game. You're trying to interfere with GOD'S WORK. I recommend you find another subject to argue about for the sake of arguing. This is far too serious a thing to prattle about. Your KJVO myth is false and YOU KNOW IT, evidenced by the fact that you can't show us even one smidgen of AUTHORITY behind it. It's not supported by history, and more importantly, it's not supported by SCRIPTURE.

How about it, sports fans? You see for yourselves that the KJVOs simply WILL NOT answer some easy basic questions concerning their myth. They've had every chance. Therefore we must conclude that they believe a false doctrine they cannot justify, but that they refuse to abandon. Therefore their credibility is zero.

Once again, another day of deafening silence from the KJVOs. More proof that their myth is founded upon nothing.

But robycop3~people have given you an answer, myself included, but you chose not to hear...or understand. Maybe you're incapable of understanding?

I was reading in Matthew today about the question of Jesus' authority. In v27 of c21, where it sez "And they answered Jesus and said, We cannot tell. And he said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things." I thought of you.

Peace and love to you all in Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour!

Amen Granny! I also thought of that scripture, but thank you for quoting it.

    Roby,

I have a question for you: Are you telling me and others, that we MUST accept the modern versions?

love in Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour,
    michelle

Thank you for exposing your motivation in the debate is only to discredit others and their stand on what they know to be true and what you still fail to understand as the Truth in the preservation of God's Word in the AV 1611 KJB.
