    I doubt God sees them as human debris. Perhaps we shouldn't either.

    Charlesga, God knows they are human debris. That is why He sent his Son to die for our wicked, ungodly, unworthy souls. Our stand against them is a witness them of how God can change human debris into a vessel of honor.

    Faithful, the reason the subject is still going is because is looking on His chosen people and seeing how we are going to serve Him. I agree that turning off the TV is a good start, but how about those that are helpless, like little children, that know no better. Who is going to stand in the gap for them if we don't.

    I don't have problems with the subject. I agree that this should not be on television and needs to be discussed.

    I do not see a reason to be so descriptive, over and over again about the half time show. How many times does it have to be described?

    I know, I know, I don't have to read any offensive threads, but there are so many offensive threads, it is difficult to skip them all. Why are some offensive threads all right?

    What about the little children who are reading this Board? Do they have to be subjected to these descriptions?

    I'm sure they are getting quite an education. Whose filling the gap for the Baptist Board youth and children that are reading?

    Thankful, I apologize for referring to you as "faithful", I know you are "thankful". You are probably faithful also, but your name on this board is "thankful". [​IMG]

    I do apologize if these postings have been an offense to you are anyone else. I would have changed the words, but the article was copyrighted, so I felt that I had to show it unaltered. It is heart breaking to think that we even have discuss these things. But we must expose the wicked one and encourage others to do so also. I remember when certain subjects were not for mixed company. My o my things have changed.

    Amen!!

    "Just change the channel" in regard to topics. I'm the same folks who say that won't be offended the next time someone says "just change the channel" in regards to inappropriate programming on television (I'm not holding my breath).

    Is there anything more fruit this topic will produce? No, this tree is become quite barren, methinks.

    True, but I don't recall Jesus calling sinners human debris nor treating people as such. It does us no good, IMO, to resort to name calling, even if there is truth to it. I can't see this as telling the truth in love. However, you are correct in that none of us are more than human debris, yet His love for us gives us incredible value.

    I'm sure there are non-Christians that read this board that want to see what we are all about.
