Have you heard of the following evangelists?
And others you'd like to share about?
Henry C. Fish?
J. B. Gambrell?
B. H. Carroll?
Three great Baptist evangelists who are not very well-known today and were at least moderatly calvinstic were:
1. T.T. Eaton
2. W.E. Penn
3. J.R. Graves (B.H. Carroll called him the greatest evangelist in the south at one time)
Sorry, I meant to say T.T. Martin, not T.T. Eaton
What is your definition of "moderately Calvinistic"? Does that mean they held to "four points"? Please elaborate just a bit. Thanks.
Don't forget Luther Rice. Sorry, I am partial.
He wasn't forgotten. I was just hoping someone would list him. I'm hoping that people will list a lot of others as well.
