Calvin's Commentary

    is offering Calvin's Commentary (w/o Judges-Job, Proverbs-Song of Songs and 2&3 John) for 99$. Its 22 volumes. I was wondering if anyone has this set or has used this set. If so, did you find it useful.

    Also, do you think 99$ is a good value?

    I'm currently doing some pulpit supply, and I've started taking seminary classes online.

    $99 is a very good price. I think I spent that much on a used set.

    IMHO Calvin's commentaries are excellent. A number have been used in Banner of Truth's
    Geneva Series set of commentaries. Other than
    spot checking various verses and what not...I've
    been through his commentary on Genesis...found it
    very helpful.
