Where is your youth group / Children's group going to camp this summer?

    What is the theme?

Just your church or with other churches?

We are heading to Campbellsburg, Indiana to Old Paths Baptist Church where it will be a "REAL" campmeeting-haha. (Tents, campers, teepees, whatever ya have!). They meet in a pole-barn on a 50acre hayfield & their trademark is "outhouses". Should be 'velie intarestin'. Their young people use mandolins, violins, fiddles, guitars in their music. June 2-5.

When we were ABA, we went to Bogg Springs Ark. They have gotten lax in their dress code, among other things.

Our youth will attend Old Paths Baptist Camp in Sarcoxie (sp?), MO. Old Paths is run by Borther Mike Cook. Brother Mike was my church's Youth Pastor before starting the camp. Old Paths is open to all youth attending a Baptist Chruch and there is no charge to attend.

I am going to camp with our Spanish church and several other Spanish churches here in the United States. It is at a camp property recently bought by our English church. It is called Windsor in the Wilds and is in Loyal, Oklahoma. I don't know if I am excited yet, because I am one of the counsellors. I will probably come back with no hair.

It's not exactly a "camp," per se, but my daughter is going to evangelist Tim Lee's "Youth Alive" Conference in North Carolina, June 17th-20th. My brother-in-law pastors a church in a town near us, and she is going with their youth group.

I'm really excited for her about this opportunity. You can find out more by going to http://www.timlee.org

I've said it before, and I'll say it again:

"I WANNA GO TO YOUTH ALIVE!!!"

That said... my church has camp at Oil Belt Christian Camp, in Flora, IL... it has camps for every age group, from 3rd grade, to senior citizens!!! Pretty much every church in this area uses Oil Belt...

I used to go there from the time I was in 3rd grade, until I was in 8th... it was awesome!!
