Well to the original question, no. Without the Gospel there is little to build on. Granted the first century churches did not have a bible per say, but they did have the apostles and their successors. And the gospels and epistles were all complete and being circulated by the late 90's. As i see the situation today, much damage has been done in the last 100 years by the interjection of modernist theology and later, social justice gospels. There are numerous other issues obviously, but the true cure is solid Preaching from the scriptures without compromise.

Yet, another grumbling fault finder posting the party line. Are they advocating attacking others rather than observing all Christ commanded? How many threads must we endure where a professing Christian ignores Christ and asserts he or she is better than the (1) RCC, (2) Benny Hinn, (3) Billy Graham, (4) you name him or her. It is time we stand up for what we believe, rather than bushwhack others.

It seems even Star Trek has been hijacked, where the needs of the petty outweigh the needs of the One.

When are our sins removed? When God transfers us spiritually into Christ. Ephesians 1:7, In Him we have redemption through His blood, for the forgiveness of our trespasses according to the riches of His grace.

Well now.....you have accompanied captain Kirk, going boldly where no.man has gone before in suggesting the RC church and Benny Hinn are just fine.
This explains why you cannot quite get the teaching correct....thanks for clearing this up.

Yet another post changing the subject with false charges. More evidence the needs of the petty outweigh the needs of the One.

Yet another false charge, by the grumbler. They believe the needs of the petty outweigh the needs of the One.

Why do they tear down others rather than defend their bogus beliefs. Because the beliefs are not biblical.

Instead of grumbling about lifeless churches, we should be building up life giving churches. Ones that honor the bible rather than rewrite it to fit with manmade doctrine.

Does God desire all men to be saved? Yes
Did Christ lay down His life as a ransom for all? Yes
Are we chosen for salvation through faith in the truth? Yes
Can men of flesh understand spiritual milk? Yes

If you deny these scriptures you deny the gospel. So to change the subject you grumble about others.

    Van,

These falsehoods are not the gospel according to the scriptures that Paul spoke about.
This does not address the O.P.....you are off topic again threadkiller.
You did not offer scriptures...just your twisted thoughts on scriptural paraphrase and caricature...
