    Precisely right.

I've visited a few churches where the pastor was "boss."

    No thanks.

When it comes to membership on this board, and the rules you clicked to agree to when you joined, it makes a big difference when posting in a baptist only are of the board. After all, you did agree to it. And according to your profile you are not a member of a baptist church, which the rules require to post here.

Yes, and that is why we have moderators, to enforce the rules. This is between the poster and the moderators/administrators. Maybe you should let one of them know if you would like to be one.

yes, we should expect everyone to obey the rules.
Of course there have been several posters here who go to churches that are not called Baptist by name but are still allowed to post in the baptist only areas.

I for one do not care who posts here as long as they are courteous.
If the moderators except this person then I certainly do not object.

It is not a question of either/ or in your equation. This is a privately owned board and the owner has the sole right to write and enforce the rules.

    Cheers,

If we are to expect everyone to follow the rules, then why are we making excuses for breaking rules.
A profile lists a persons denomination, no matter if it's in the name of thier church or not, when anything other then baptist is listed they can not post in the baptist only forum. That is the rules here, and unles your advocatiing breaking rules, then thats the rules.
If the modrators are to follow the same rules as the rest of us, then they can not accept a non baptist in the baptist only forum.
Why do we even need rules I have to wonder, why not just a free for all.
There are rules, here, in the work place, at school, driving a car, in church, legal rules we call laws, so which are ok to break? Maybe no one hould have to follow them, but rather make up their own rules, like they apparently do here.
