I know this will take a little doing but I'd LOVE to see pictures of your sanctuary if you are not in a traditional church or your church isn't set-up in a traditional church LIKE a traditional church. We're going to be building a warehouse into a sanctuary and I'm looking for ideas. So if you can get me a few pictures, I'd LOVE that!!!! You can PM me for my e-mail addy or you can post them here or you can post them on Flickr or Facebook or Photobucket and then post the link here. Thanks for your help!

Ours is a school stage with about five layers of curtains. It is average sized for a school stage, Not huge, and about 4 foot off the floor.

Don't have any of our current sanctuary. I really wanted to show you some of the sanctuary of the Methodist church I grew up in and which my grandparents help to start, but I couldn't find a good one.

So here is the chapel at Sumatanga and one of my favorite places on Earth...

One of the things that always made the little chapel special to me was that it was accessible only by a mountain trail and you had to hike up the mountain to it. But I haven't been there in many years and I'm told that they built a little road up to it.

Unfortunately, we're in suburban Long Island, one block north of a main highway and one block south of another. We're in a light industrial area - so no beautiful mountain paths. LOL

I think you'll have to see the page rather than copy/paste --- see http://granadapca.org/weddings/

Very traditional - one of the most beautiful sanctuaries.

Here is the "pulpit" of a large church in the area -- very contemporary services.
