Can we translate the KJV into Spanish?

    To answer the original question. A Spanish Bible translated from the KJB would at best be similar to that English Bible translated from the Vulgate, the Douay-Rheims Bible. The DR Bible was at least done by 2 skilled translation teams. The KJB to Spanish translation efforts up to now have all been done by folks who while they may have been sincere were, to put it kindly, not so skilled.

    The real mystery is why anyone would bother. Plenty of folks out there who are perfectly fluent in Spanish and Koine Greek and Hebrew and Aramaïc. Get the original language texts used to translate the KJB, form a translation team and go.

    Where in the world did you come up with that conclusion?

    Would you agree to an English translation from Spanish instead of the original tongues? Don't you think God can preserve His Word in Spanish?

    Who made English the standard for the rest of the world?
