Canadian Health Care Imploding

Isn't it interesting that every time this debate comes Canadians say how satisfied are with their health care and Americans tell them how rotten it is?

 

Of course, that's a key issue: Canada is sovereign. If they want it, good for them.

 

This is just not factual. There has been posted source after source from Canada about the severe problems with health care in Canada. Your post ignores that fact.

 

You cannot be this ignorant; you just won't admit you are wrong. You accept what "articles" say but ignore what members here who live in Canada say.

Don't go clouding the thread with living personal examples of living under the system. Certainly one doctors testimony (who we don't know and don't know the motivation for writing the story) shows you're wrong.

Don't worry, in a recent poll 72% of American's said they favor a public option but these same people tell us the majority don't want it. No one disputes we need reform but these same people tell us we have the greatest system in the world. Ranked 37 but the greatest just the same.

 

Well let's take a look at that. I have never had any problems with our health care. It has always been the epitome of perfect for me and my family. Now would you say that disproves any criticism of American Health care?

 

Our health care is great but our health insurance can be better.

In fact, they just denied a lab claim for my wife saying they believe she is covered by another plan. Why would we have another plan when we pay so much for this one? Now I know they will pay in the end but it is sure a hassle having to always prove yourself against these insane rejections.

Single payer is not public option.

Single payer would be complete government take over similar to Canada.

Public option means the government has a plan that competes with the myriad of private plans.

Very big difference as you can see in the polls.

I was referring to the Canadians and Americans on this board, only, pure, and simple.

 

I didn't know SeekingTruth number had been debunked but there is a big difference between single payer and public option. I know some are trying to present the public option as government take over but there really is a big difference and one doesn't have to lead to the other.
