Last night, all the major television networks chose not to show footage of violent union members in Michigan tearing down a tent owned by Americans for Prosperity, or footage of a union member punching Fox News contributor Steven Crowder in the face repeatedly. This is no surprise; the mainstream media is unconcerned with reports of union violence, which they apparently feel is justified enough not to warrant coverage.

“The pro-union broadcast networks are deliberately censoring footage of thuggish union violence directed at conservatives,” said Media Research President Brent Bozell. “If a Tea Partier had physically assaulted a liberal journalist or ripped down a structure occupied by a liberal organization all on video, the footage would be broadcast on an endless loop. ABC, CBS, and NBC have a responsibility to the American people to expose what’s really happening in Michigan. Their double standard is absolutely outrageous.”

The MSM is leftist, socialist, and have no idea at all at this point of what responsible journalism means.
MSNBC's Chris Matthews is said to have accused the freedom to work people of "self-mutilation". That is, they and not the union goons tore down their tents.
Since there is a video, and there are pictures, of one of their sucker-punching airhead goons, actually hitting Chowder, they could not say Chowder punched himself.
But I'm not putting it below them to actually doctor one photo and say the freedom to work guys did the doctoring.
They ignored the Benghazi massacre of 4 Americans, why should it be a surprise if they ignore union violence since their lord and savior Obama endorses unionizing business ?

Remember your history, folks. The Marxists and socialists will gradually keep doing this until they've silenced all opposition. Once they get rid of the opposition, then they turn on each other.

Bob, if all of us are removed, there will be no one left to speak up for you when it is your turn to be silenced as well.

Anyone who is a WWII history buff can clearly see what is at stake here.

Not a surprising statement, considering your approval of union violence as you have stated in other posts.

While I agree that this Union violence is not the will of our Lord, I don't understand this statement. The USSR was communistic in WWII, an enemy of Nazi Germany and our ally for as long as Germany lasted. Germany, on the other hand, was Fascistic - which is not Marxist in any way shape or form. Marxism doesn't allow free enterprise or business. Germany embraced and championed business and a form of capitalism, albeit state controlled.

The USSR lost 20 million people to the German war machine.

I'm so tired of this canard. It makes conservatives sound like whining children-- "It's just not FAIR!"

The fact is that there is only about 22 minutes to each nightly news broadcast by the over-the-air networks. The news director decided this story didn't rise to the level of importance as the other stories they ran last night.

Why not go to their internet sites and see if they covered the stories?

    MSNBC covered it:

Host Chris Matthews said the man who punched Crowder should come forward. “If he singles himself out, he won’t represent labor anymore. As long as that picture is just an unidentified member of the labor union, if he is a member of the labor union, it’s going to hurt labor generally,” said Matthews.

    So?

Not really. It is simply shining a light on the seditious nature of most of the reporting.

The fact is, that the story undermines the illusion he is trying to maintain, and you are being complicit.

I can easily see you taking that viewpoint, as violence is acceptable where union involvement is concerned. It's no big deal.
