Change?

The entire campaign of Barack Hussein Obama, the junior Senator from Illinois, consisted of one word: change. Now that he is the President of the United States, we will see the true horrors of change. The simple word change has no guarantee of good contained in the six letters that make up the word. At face value it simply means: give me anything other than what I now have. A study of history will quickly reveal that Adolf Hitler and others of his ilk who were first elected to office and shortly after became dictators were also first elected to office on a campaign of one word and that word was change.

In ancient Israel, God's people made the same grave error. They demanded change. They entered into the spiritual auditorium of blind change, and it eventually destroyed them and brought them into Babylonian slavery and captivity. In Jeremiah 2:11-13 we read of this as follows: "Hath a nation changed their gods, which are yet no gods? But my people have changed their glory for that which doth not profit. Be astonished, O ye heavens, at this, and be horribly afraid, be ye very desolate, saith the Lord. For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water."

Satan thrives in the arena of ambiguous change. If Satan can keep people in a constant state of change, they never arrive at anything. Nothing is conclusive, there are no reference points, and eventually all indices of truth are lost. Change, in and of itself, means that nothing is certain!

Our nation of the United States of America is a lost nation. It is a nation that is now overshadowed by the death clouds of uncertainty. It is a nation that will stay lost as it spirals downward rapidly and draws ever closer to hell. The only change that would save our country is if our nation would completely repent and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ, the one true Saviour! This did not happen with the election of Barack Hussein Obama. We do know that individuals can have their lives changed by the Lord Jesus. If you do not know Him as your personal Lord and Saviour, now is the time to come to Him on your knees in serious repentance and with sincerest prayer. He will hear you and change you. You cannot vote for change; you must repent for change. On Judgment Day eternal salvation will be the only thing that has any value at all. You will be there one way or the other!
