    http://www.touchet1611.org/SpiritualTerrorists.html

    I believe that this was the church that claimed anyone not being KJV only to be a Spiritual Terrorist.

    This pastor also says things like this.

    ...I am King James 1611 only - nothing else - no Greek, no Hebrew, no Lexicons - no, not even one on occasion!

    ...I am not 'ordained' or 'educated' to any scholarly level that would impress other pastors and reverends;

    Not every church ordains pastors. But this guy brags about it very openly. I have been in churches that did not ordain people.

    ...I have not attended any formal Bible institute or college;

    Foolish. You learn so much in school that few churches will ever teach.

    ...I preach against queers and politically correct yet sinful lifestyles of many & most Americans;

    Fred Phelps? See my article on homosexuality on Cerm's website (www.cerm.info)

    ...I own & carry 'loaded' guns safely & legally. I carry a gun on my person with my Bible 'almost' all the time and would use a gun in my defense of the Bible as well in my own personal and family defense;

    This guy is in the wrong state. Washington is a very liberal state as I recall. He belongs in Kansas or in the South. Carries around a gun may be illegal in his state.

    ...I don't believe that soul winning is the number one responsibility of a Christian;

    Matt 28:18-20

    I wrote this maybe 6 or 7 years ago.
    It is what you found:

    ----------------------------
    The fundamentals of traditional fundamentalism:

    1. the inspiration and infallibility of scripture
    2. the deity of Christ (including His virgin birth)
    3. the substitutionary atonement of Christ's death
    4. the literal resurrrection of Christ from the dead
    5. the literal return of Christ in the Second Advent

    The hyper-fundamentals:

    1. Anti-Bible (KJBO = King James Bible Only)
    2. Anti-education (AKA: pro-ignorance)
    3. Anti-success
    4. Anti-female
    5. Anti-alien (Hate of gay-boys, racism, etc.)

    Typical statements made by the hyper-fundamentalists:
    (note that the world calls them "fundies"
    and we real fundamentalists have to bear their
    burden unjustly):

    1. The KJB replaces the original language manuscripts as being God's word
    2. Calling "seminary": "cemetery"
    3. Jerry Falwell sold out to the Devil
    4. mistreatment of women
    5. Jews killed Christ
    ------------------------------

    BTW, I do believe the fundamentals of traditional fundamentalism
    to be true.

    Re

    Okay then what type of Fundamentalist am I?

    Go to my website and please find a label or catagory for me.

    www.cerm.info

    I call myself fundamentalist, but I believe some may call me Southern Baptist.

    So what, BIble John?

    He's a bit extreme, but Ive seen worse, whether KJV only or not. Id now say you're an extreme on the opposite side.

    He said he preaches against the gay lifestyle....why is that bad and why is that Phelpsian?
    He carries guns legally.....why is that any of your business and why is that bad?
    He doesn't hold education in too high a regard, you might not like that, but many famous preachers didn't have a college education.

    Don't you have better uses of your time than to run around the internet looking for church's websites that you disagree with?

    Please

    I do not want to read your mean spirited posts.

    It is best if you do not communicate with me. You take what I say personally, when I never and not once mentioned you.

    Do not email me.

    Thanks

    John

    No

    Well since I love to do research, running around the Internet and finding websites that I both agree and disagree is something I enjoy doing.

    So what?

    Besides in school I had to do a bit of this for assignments. However with me researhc is a personnel interest.

    Fellow fundamentalist:

    Bible John: //I call myself fundamentalist, but I believe some may call me Southern Baptist.//

    Me too!!! :)

    Repeating:

    You sound quite fundamentalist. This is true of many
    Individual Southern Baptists and many Southern Baptist
    Churches.

    Thank you for your Statement of Faith.

    Re

    Thanks again my friend.

    Southern Baptist heh? Well there are so many different stripes of SBC folk. Some are also really into the Emerging Church and Rick Warrens books.

    Yes, but many SBC folk are Traditional Fundamentalists
    as I've described above. This 'tradition' was set about 1920
    in a series of booklets: THE FUNDAMENTALS sent to mostly
    Baptist pastors & workers.

    Well besides the self righoutsnes and hate that seems to be the focus of this Touchet's sight. Does anybody know what this means.

    I am all for carrying a gun leagally. I am all for defence of myself and my family. What does he mean he would use it to defend the Bible?

    I hope I am misunderstanding him.

    Probably means that if I got into an argument with him over his KJV and told him of the errors that are in it, he would shoot me.

    Every translation has some errors, and none are perfect.

    based on the rest of his article there, it more likely means that he feels as if the gov't is going to try and take his Bible away, or that he'll defend his right to preach the Bible........

    Im not sure.....

    Frankly since none of us have talked to him I don't know that any of us can decide what he means.
