Child told he cannot return to Church

    Back in those days, when churches all over the landscape were voting on whether to accept people of other races (usually white churches voting on whether to accept black people), one pastor I know of proclaimed that his church would not be voting, because such a vote would be illegitimate. His argument was that the Bible set no such criteria and that therefore no church should even vote on this matter, for of course all people were welcomed into the church, assuming, of course, that their faith stance was right. Good thinking!
