Children of the Storm- Natasha Vins

    We (our family) is reading together "Children of the Storm" by Natasha Vins. It is about growing up in a Christian home in the USSR and about her father (Georgi Vins) being sent to prison camps for their Baptist beliefs. I strongly recommend this book to everyone.

    In the 70's I was very involved in working with the Persecuted Church in the Soviet Union (I studied in Leningrad and smuggled bibles to Baptists in Lithuania) and had opportunity to meet with the Vins family. Finestkind.

    Thanks for the info on the book. I will certainly get it in the future.

    Dr Bob, I think the Bible smuggling thig is really cool. Years ago I read about Brother Andrew. My question is how do reconsile that with obeying the laws of the nation.
