Has anyone seen or used Lifeway's CMS - Children's Music Series teaching materials? It sounds interesting, but to see it, I'd have to order it. There's 3 age levels - Ktg, 1-3, and 4-6.

Anyone know of any other choir programs that would not only teach songs, but music reading and some Bible thrown in?

I've seen it Debby but not to really study over it. Our church uses it for ages 4 and up. It's a lot like our S/S material as far as I can tell. The choir teachers use it each week.

Does it teach music reading and singing technique?

I only saw for the 4 year olds. It did have 'beats', etc.... It was mixed in with my S/S things.

How about "MAde for Praise" (Lifeway) - I used to use that one and loved it

Is that ongoing like Sunday School materials, or a one-time series?

It is quarterly, but you can buy the whole year in advance. Thats what we used in seminary, and I used the same material year after year since we had no music budget at that church. I still use some of it.
