China executes 15 members of underground church

China has executed up to 15 members of an underground Protestant church sect for the alleged murders of people in another group, a religious rights body and a lawyer said.

There were reports the two sects had been feuding over the past few years and that both had kidnapped, tortured and injured adherents from the rival camp, he said.

The China Aid Association a US-based group said their confessions were extorted through severe torture and the funds they were accused of defrauding were donations from Christians.

Re: the accused group: "They are well known for their brutal ways ... so many mainstream Christian groups are terrified of them," he said. "Whether this is a religious freedom issue and whether the killings were motivated by religion, that's the debatable issue."

Yes, it would behoove us next time we go shopping to look at the Made in China labels and remember what the Chinese government does to our Brothers & Sisters in Christ. No doubt they "harvested" their organs for sale.:tear:

Does anybody really need any new Christmas decorations or lights this year? They are all made in China.

Wouldn't it be something if Americans would boycott Chinese goods because of China's Human Rights violations? That is the only way the message would be understood loud and clear. Our politicians & Bush Administration didn't care about China's human rights violations when they granted them Permanent Trade Relations Status with the United States in January 2002.
