I rarely watch TV, but when I do, it is to keep updated on what's happening in the world. Last night I happen to land on Comedy Central where a guy was hosting an informal discussion with four celebrities. I stopped because I heard the words "Christians are always..blah, blah, blah coming from comedian Kathy Griffin. The host (Colin Quinn I think) had a picture of a cut-out Jesus hanging on the cross, with an array of paper cut-out clothing to dress him in. I guess this is for sale in stores. It was really blasphemous to say the least. The host was trying to make a point and was actually arguing with his guest in defense of Christians and Christianity. While the guest were railing on how hateful and intolerant we Christians are, Quinn kept asking "When were you assaulted or insulted by a Christian"? Of course no one wanted to answer. The host then asked regarding the blasphemous Jesus product "Would the Muslims let you get away with someone doing this to Muhammad"? Again, no one wanted to answer, they just ignored the host and kept proudly spewing their Christian hate speech. The host then told them to listen to themselves and then challenged them to talk that way about Muslims, or blacks, or Hindu's and again, he was ignored. He then made the comment that considering all of the hatred being spoken towards Christians, he doubts any Christian would make a fuss, implying that we are pretty tolerant of our persecution over the year. No one else would put up with it and he is right. It's coming folks. These comedians were so hateful that I could only think of Nazi Germany and the open hatred they had towards the Jews. I was appalled at what I was hearing.
