    Never heard of him, but from the looks of the clips on his website, your money would be better spent elsewhere.

    He wasn't that funny in those clips. At best, mildly amusing.

    Sounds like warmed over Seinfeld schtick. Does Christian comedy just mean he doesn't cuss?

    Probably much better live than on video. Christian comedy has to be tough... most Christians don't want to even crack a smile.

    Isn't that the truth? Several years back I was preaching in a church (the pastor calls his congregation "the frozen chosen"), and I shared a funny story. Not so much as a polite smile. Afterward, I was having tea with one of the church families when the daughter of the home said, "You know, Pastor, that was one of the funniest stories I have ever heard ... in fact, I almost laughed out loud!"

    Says it all really.

    Charles Marshall was at our church a couple of years ago.

    He was mildly funny...not side-splitting, but it wasn't a wasted evening.

    He also shared some of his testimony during the evening.
