    Brothers Under Christ news link

I'm surprised this hasn't hit the BB yet.

    What do you think ?

I think if they changed the name to Brethren Under Christ and allow Christian women in, they might get in.

nah, then the gays will want in...so they'll just become "bigots of another stripe" (note the sarcasm).

However, you could probably form an organization at UF that catered to overweight nearsighted left-handed gay agnostic women from Tasmania. :D

Selectivity is allowed in certain directions...but not others.

We had a Christian Fraternaty at school when I was a student. They should apply for membership in the Greek system, but remove the item in their charter that 'requires' members to be Christians.

Then they only pledge Christians and they have no problems. Greek organizations can be very exclusive.

There's always a way around certain problems.
It's just the unwillingness to work around that makes issues issues.

Why can't they just allow women to join but then have separate activites for men and women ? That way it could still be a requirement that you had to be a Christian?

Or they could just let everybody be Christians together. Just a thought.
