Well after reading all four pages of this {and I'll bet it be 3 times longer before the thread is closed! [IMG] } I have to agree with Gina on many accounts. Yeap, those guys do look plain scary! yuck! {Oh BTW love the picture of the guy with his tounge out. Great Christian testimony. } That sign on the drums does look like 3 sixes comdined. Even if it dosn't mean anything bad, the Bible says to adstain from the apearance of evil.
Though I refuse to subject any child to rock or so called CCM stuff, I believe ya'll when ya'll say they bop their heads around, and I know the only experiance I've had when around CCM, rock any of it was cringing and thinking of running in the other direction. I don't care what you say, it's worldly and being of the world isn't right. It's not agreeing with the Bible which comands us to abstain from the world.
Oh and someone made the statement about that symbol thing being in the NKJV, and that that "version" was the version for English speaking people. Well ya'll know my stand on the Bible by now {KJBO} and I just take that as another example of the world coming off as godly.
Now I know I've ruffled feathers of some people, and I'm sure half the board is going to come down on my head, but I just had to speak out here.
Sorry if you don't like it, but I have an opinion and you can have yours. By now I've learned you can't change someone's mind and it's up to them in the end of what they believe.
    IMHO, Abby [IMG]
PS, after reading over this, I realize some people may think I'm saying this in an angre sort of way, but truely I mean it nicely. I'm just not the most eloquent person! :D

Mike and everyone, where does this group claim to be Christian? I can't find it anywhere on the site. I saw them talking about "if it makes you feel good it's a good song", etc., the only time they came close to even the thought of anything Christian was a reference to "that thing in the sky". They label themselves as a multi-cultural group, trying to bridge that gap, and they've "shared" the stage with groups like Korn, which is a pretty Satanic group to hear the teens talk.
Who labels them as Christian? They themselves certainly don't appear to!

So we just give in to total ignorance and toss out anything that someone might misunderstand??? If there's a symbol that someone doesn't understand, it's a perfect opportunity to tell someone the gospel. (I'm speaking from experience here.)

"World coming off as godly"? I don't understand your meaning...

Since you are KJVO, I suppose you don't accept the NKJV. I certainly hope you aren't suggesting that the symbol that "appears evil" being on the cover of the NKJV demonstrates the evil of both.

Same here. I've been blunt, but I'm not angry... just astounded at your willingness condemn a traditional Christian symbol because someone might make a false assumption about it. (Note: I'm talking hypothetically here, not necessarily referrring to anyone here.)

People thought Jesus might have been demonized, but that didn't make their beliefs true and it certainly didn't make Jesus change His ministry.

Christians who's minds are open to the Spirit can change.

If you please, I realize I am more strict on some things than other moderators. See my post on page 6.

Well silly me, I was looking at their OWN site and not at others! DUH!
Since the topic is CCM and they're not, why are we wasting time discussing what they are?
Back to the topic please, - the pseudo-Christian people who make up the non-Christian band.

OFF TOPIC: Well, that was rather humorless, wasn't it Mike?

I APOLOGIZE TO THE ENTIRE WORLD FOR TRYING TO BE FUNNY ************.

ON TOPIC: Man, did you guys see the tattoos on the arms of the members of P.O.D.! (I'm not trying to be judgemental here, just stating a fact that I happened to notice because they have their entire arms covered by them which is not considered normal for the world in which I live, but which might be perfectly normal for the world they live in, and Christ wouldn't judge us by our outside appearances anyway, because as we know, when we are saved, we have no change on the outside anyway, and there is no difference between being a Christian and worldly, and we all know that it was just a suggestion somewhere in the Bible to stay away from the appearance of evil and to be a peculiar people).

Man, I'm qualified out. Since I'm fairly new here, would someone PM me to tell me how to post without offending someone else???   :D

Everyone please familiarize yourselves with the BB Posting Rules. See the link at the bottom of the page. [IMG]

I admit that I am more strict about rule number 3 than most others, but experience has taught me that the music subject can scarcely be discussed before insults, whether direct or implied, begin flying through the air.

My only recourse is to nip it in the bud. [IMG]

We don't need to imply that those who have one view are stupid. We certainly don't misuse another member's name. [IMG]

I'm not talking about being sickly sweet either. [IMG] It is possible to have a strongly worded post without jabbing the others.

It does get old after a while. [IMG]

Thanks for the reminder Aaron, and glad to see it does look like in this case everyone settled it between themselves before it got mean.
BTW, do you have an opinion on the topic? Just curious, as long as you're looking anyhow. [IMG]

So I guess the answer is YES.

The disingenuous answer is yes. You don't mention that you were told: the only people who interpret it as evil have a vested interest in seeing it that way.

So what if it does? There is nothing intrinsically evil about the number 6, the number 6 repeated three times, or the number 666 - much less an abstract design that merely resembles three interlocked 6's.

That verse about abstaining from the appearance of evil has little force when the thing doesn't even appear evil . . .

Are you referring to the members of Audio Adrenalin, the band with which you started this thread? If so, I think you need to back up your assertions that they are "pseudo-Christians," and AA is a "non-Christian band," with some actual evidence, please.
