The town where we used to live has a big light display at the city park, so we always go there to tour the lights and let the kids see Santa and drink the free hot cocoa.

We try to celebrate the entire Advent season, not just Christmas day. Here are some of our activities this year ---

    Radio City Christmas Spectacular
    Westminster Choirs & Orchestra Concerts
    Junior Orange Bowl Caroling Contest
    Disney World & Candlelight Processional
Visiting Christmas Homes (see www.clotsxmas.com for a house down the street)
    Church Christmas Pops Concert
    Christmas Eve Service
    Noche Buena

Actually the wife and I are doing that this year - All week long. Beginning on Christmas Eve by attending the Candlelight Processional - a truly worshipful experience in the midst of all the glitz.

I wish there was a performance of Messiah near us this year - SOmeday my church choir wil be able to perform this glorious work. We are doing Nutcracker this year. (We do it about every othe year.)

As to church cantatas, I'm generally not able to attend any other than the ones I am directing or singing in.

Shopping, light-seeing, parade watching, attending parties/dinners, going to see "Camelot" on stage, trying not to go crazy b/c of all the crowds/crush/rush.

Tater, so it seems that you, Tenor and I will all be at Disney this Christmastime. I wasn't really planning on going, but it looks like we are after all. I'll be there this coming weekend. I'll let you all know how it goes.

Is a tuna Christmas one where you have fish instead of turkey?

    Going Christmas Carolling
    I don't plan on it.

    Seeing the Christmas lights
Yes; I don't drive with my eyes closed.

Going to a performance of the Messiah
    What's He performing?

Going to a performance of the Nutcracker
I do wish I had an automatic nutcracker to 'perform' and crack them for me. If that means something else, I don't know anyone who carries a mallet and cracks the noggin of every nut out in public.

    Seeing Tuna Christmas
    What the heck is that?

Going to a church Christmas Cantata
Maybe. It seems like eleventy-fourteen things have been announced or printed in the bulletins lately, and cantata may be among them.

    Going Christmas shopping
I suppose. I buy a little Christmas like most of us.

    Sending Christmas cards
I've only received one so far, so if I give just compensation and send one back, it will only be card-- singular.

    Nothing.
Yeah, I'll do some of that, too.

    None of the above
I'd have to be dead for both "Nothing" and "None of the above" to be true. And I ain't. So no.
