I'm a lot more concerned about the symbolic meaning of Bush & Co. covering up the statue of justice, than about whether or not some statuary might have been inspired by the Ten Commandments.

That seems to me no more a violation of the Constitution, than Greenough's statue depicting George Washington as Zeus is an endorsement of pagan religion.

There are all sorts of religious allusions in early American public buildings, a good deal of it Christian. None of it amounts to an entanglement of church and state.

When I first saw the thread title I failed to see the last word "on". I thought ole chuck had died.

However this needs to be straightened out. When we are more concerned about a secular symbol that we are Biblical symbol what does that say about Christians?

When the bogey monster gets ready for sleep, he checks under his bed for Chuck Norris.

When Chuck Norris goes in the ocean, he doesn't get wet. The water gets Chuck Norris.

    Chuck Norris can touch dis.
