Unbelievable ... The smugness and arrogance of this guy. He truly thinks the democrats are going to destroy conservative talk radio. As Lee Corso says "Not so fast my friend."
Rush, Sean, Glenn, Laura, Mark, etc. will not be going away. They want a fight on freedom of speech? They will go down in flames, but with a huge pension to support them in retirement.

The democrats would love to destroy free speech anywhere that it disagrees with them. They have seen their monopoly on our information erode and would love to destroy talk radio. As long as they can keep their supporters ignorant then they can lie with immunity.

But it is too late. Freedom always emerges somewhere else. Before we had talk radio we still had conservative papers and publications. Now we have the Internet and satellite radio. The democrats can never keep everyone quite. Even China can't do that in their country.

All reinstating the fairness doctrine will do is drive talk radio to satellite and pod cast.

In an Obama administration, the 1ST Amendment will be under constant attack.

Agree, even thinking about buying some xm stock.

Something interesting Schumer said in the clip, concerning government regulating oneof commercial activity and not another commercial activity. Does this not open the door for regulation of print and television news; and any and all commercial activities. Seems socialistic to me.

A democrat president, with democrats controlling both houses of congress is a scary proposition. Praying the American people do right and elect McCain (warts and all).
