I come to many of the same conclusions that the RCC does, but not from the same direction. I don't think I'd make a very good Catholic.

I am a Christian which is what Christ "makes." I will leave the doctrines and traditons of men to you. I prefer the strait and narrow of Christ,( Mat. 7:13,14).

I preach the truth. In fact,I will sign a proposition that the Bible teaches that water Baptism is for the remission of sins." I asked a local Baptist preacher to discuss it. He refused. I guess he was as concerned as you are about me, too.
Finally, the false teaching is grace alone and faith alone, which adds up to at least two, which makes them not alone is simply false.(JN. 6:28,29,James 2:21,24).
Why should one repent. According to you, it is not necessary for salvation either. You deny baptism and repentance ( see acts 2:38).
Jesus is the author of eternal salvation to all them that obey him.( Hebrews5:8,9). I have obeyed.(Roms. 1:16,17).
Finally, the real transgression is when one judges anothers heart. The real trangression is to make inflammatory remarks about people. The real transgression is to ignore the evidence and twist scriptures. The real transgression is to ignore the truth which saves.( James 1:18).

Frank, I am a Christian too. One who was bought for a price. One who the buyer will never give back. When I was saved I didn't grip God he reached down and grabbed me. If I were holding on to Him I would fail and let go, more often then I would like to admit, but since God is the one who has me in His hand, I know I am safe for he will not let go. I was perfecly forever saved by the PERFECT sacrifice of His son. I am glad we are both Christians but saddened by your core beliefs and your approach to others.

    In Christian love,
    Brian

What proof do you have of this? I believe this is an other thread, but one that has been brought up before.

I have taught the truth of the Gospel to the best of my ability. I have made the same request that Jesus made in Mark 1:15. Obey the Gospel.( Roms.1:16, Hebs. 5:8,9).
I am disappointed that instead of exegesis of scripture inflammatory remarks were made like pharisee and reference to one being a member of a cult.I am disappointed that men refuse to examine the totality of evidence and make rational conclusions.

Jesus said noone is able to pluck us out of his hand, that sounds like a grip to me. add it up and see what you come up with.

A true gift has no conditions attached. Perhaps you have been in the world too long. There are lots of gimmicks out there. You have won a prize if: you fulfill condition A, B, and C. It is not really a gift then is it? It has conditions set to it. What if one of the conditions is a downpayment? God's gift (eternal life) has no conditions. He gives eternal life with no conditions attached. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved. That is it. No baptism, no works, nothing. Just believe in Him. There are no conditions. You are setting conditions with your man-made religion.

You have never adequately responded to the point I have made concerning the sufficiency of the blood of Christ. If baptism is necessary for salvation, then the blood of Christ was not all-sufficient? Is that correct?
