It is a rarity but have you ever been in a church that taught Hermeneutics and Bible study methods? I mean a church that walked people though how to use a Strong's Concordance and the book How to read the Bible for all its worth or some other book? A rarity indeed. What about doctrine? Ever been to a church that had a class on systematic theology? Wayne Grudem wrote an excellent lay-level book on systematic theology that would be perfect for such an environment. I am sure that some churches use it and also teach systematic theology, but sadly few do these days. Tell us about your experiences.
