For what it's worth, I have no idea what he is talking about. When I edit or delete a post\thread, I leave obvious "finger prints."

Looks to be just more taunting of the moderators.

    Perhaps he needs another vacation.

I prefer loading them in trebuchets and flinging them back across the border.

Which border? Most think of illegals as originating from Mexico and Central America. Those are the most easily see. However, a good proportion are from Asia (Mainland China and the Philippines), the Republic of Ireland, and the Former Soviet Union.

"As of January 2012, there were approximately 210,000 unauthorized Chinese nationals living in the United States, comprising nearly 2 percent of the 11.4 million unauthorized immigrants in the United States." LINK

Chinese are a distant second in the illegal immigrant category. Most Chinese immigrants are here legally, but some enter illegally across the Mexican border. 1,678 of them were deported to China in 2012 and 2013.

From what I've observed locally, illegals come range of nations not just the stereotypical Hispanic. Such a range would require "internal passports" to weed them out. I for one would oppose internal passports. They bring to my mind the security apparatus of various totalitarian regimes.

The appearance of totalitarianism is unpleasant. Of course it depends on whether or not we are going to enforce our immigration laws. E-verify and other tools are useful if we are serious about it.

My wife and her family are ex-citizens of the now Former Soviet Union. Their Soviet citizenship was revoked as they boarded the plane from Moscow.
    My concerns are:

    • "Be careful what you wish for."
    • "Beware of unintended consequences"
Yes, I know the US needs to tighten up its border controls. But are you folks of otherwise libertarian\Constitutional bent ready to bear the consequences of the near police state required to implement the border controls you desire?

Wouldn't be anything remotely like a police state. Just enforce the laws. What border criminals aren't caught will leave voluntarily.

That's what you and I both desire. However, much of the rhetoric by many posters tends to that direction. They want the "efficient" enforcement of the border laws. As I read the posts, nothing less than official dragnets and deportations will satisfy them.

Faced with (for example) a Wong, a Garcia, a Kelly, and an Ivanov(a) how does a ICE enforcement officer determine who to question? By their ethnic appearances? The problem he runs into is only Kelly and Ivanov are illegals. Garcia's family moved into New Mexico before July 4, 1776. Wong's family help build the Transcontinental Railroad.

Many posters here would pick on the, to them, usual suspect.
