    It was Bill, not Hillary.

Aaron's right. Neither Clinton does anything without a plan to advance one or both of them. Bill jumped off the Obama train in a very closely calculated move.

The first two words in your excerpt from the link says, "Bill Clinton" so naturally Aaron responds without thinking (per usual) "She's campaigning." Some posters are so smart they don't have to read what you write, they just respond.

Thankfully you include an excerpt from links unlike some other posters who only post links, which I won't mention. [Pass the salt, please. It's in the poncho.]

It's three years to that election and by that time this will all be forgotten, given the voting public has the attention span of a gnat. It makes no sense to abandon your own party's president at this extremely early stage of the game for what will pay out zero to ultra-minimal gains in 1,092 days from now.

I'm sure it's for political reasons, but it has nothing to do with Hillary's potential presidential run.

I must be the only one who thinks that you are right! And, yes, I saw Bill on tv hours ago so I knew it was him, and I assume that you did, too.

I agree, the ACA will be the crowning moment of ineptness for Obama to those who normally support him, and his own party sees it. The Clinton's are smart, they are jumping ship from this administration early.

A liar (I did not have sexual relations with that woman...) to another liar (if you like your insurance, you can keep it).
    great entertainment.

True, remember one of their campaign slogans from a few years ago?

You are getting "two for the price of one"

That's what I thought you meant. Bill made the comment but he made the comment because Hillary is running and this is all about positioning.

It's no secret that Bill doesn't care for President Obama and President Obama doesn't care for Bill no matter how "professional" they try to keep things looking on the surface.

If it wasn't for that young whippersnapper, Bill would have been back in the White House 5 years ago. Now he's in limbo.

The minute Hillary said she wasn't gonna do a second term as SOS, it was on.

Actually that was more than a few years ago. That was 1992, or 21 years ago. I was on a blind date and naturally the subject of the presidential campaign came up. My date said she was voting for Bill Clinton but she really wanted to vote for Hillary. Then she said, "I like that idea that when you vote for Bill you get two for the price of one." The rest of the date was torture.

Had it been me, the "rest of the date" would have been non-existent.

When you are my age 21 years is only a "few years ago" (or so it seems).

But that's just it, Bill was telling the truth. He didn't specify which Ms. Lewinsky he was speaking of. There must have been many hundreds of Ms. Lewinsky's when he made that statement, he could have been speaking of any of them except the one that worked in the White House, and he would have been telling 100% truth.

Bill Clinton was a lawyer, he knows how to manipulate words.

Bill Clinton can make statements telling Obama to let people keep their insurance all day, he knows it is impossible to do so. The law has already been signed and forces insurance companies to increase coverage for things not previously covered, no preexisting conditions refused, etc...

It sounds great, let people keep what they have, but the law would have to be amended to do so, and that is not going to be easy. It's not gonna happen quick.

Plus, the system will fail if they do it, everybody would go for the cheap policies with limited coverage which will not provide enough money to subsidize those who do not have insurance.

Bill is just preparing to make Hillary look good, but he knows Obama cannot let folks keep their insurance.

Once you step in dog-doo, it's too late.
