Here's the link to her blog: Pauline Hawkins: Writer, teacher, dreamer

She isn't the only one. A 20-year veteran in Cambridge, Massachusetts, another eastern Colorado teacher, two teachers in Missouri, one in Kansas City, the other in St. Louis, all have resigned because they will not teach to Common Core Standards. The Lewis-Palmer School District in Colorado, the Blue Springs, Missouri, public schools, and several other districts across the country have passed an identically-worded resolution aimed at state legislatures around the country considering school funding laws, vowing "not [to]support changing curriculum or standards to align with the new Common Core standards."

When you have this many educators and school districts rebelling against the curriculum, I can't help but think there is something wrong with it.
