Coming Islamic Anti-Christ?

    From what I understand of Islam, Muhammad is dead and will remain dead. The awaited Mahdi (messiah) is the next in line after Muhammad.

    Muslims believe that when this Mahdi comes, he will come with Jesus (who they call just another profit of Allah) and together they will purge the world of infidels and institute an islamic kingdom.

    It is completely opposite of God's plan and therefore nothing but demonic in my eyes.

    Amazing that their prophesy of the end-times players mirrors the Bible.

    That is some scary stuff.

    It just re-enforces my belief that the A/C and his final Kingdom is going to be an Islamic one, ruled by the sword.

    Ho, hum...I'm not terribly old, but in my 35 years I've come across more antichrists than some people have had hot breakfasts - capitalism, Soviet Communism (because Moscow has 7 hills it was quite clearly Babylon), the EU, the New Age, Henry Kissinger, the Roman Catholic Church, the UN, the WTO. Islam's always figured in there somewhere with some people, but I'm tired of jumping on the latest TBN bogeyman-bandwagon. All these theories, oddly enough, originated in the US, and were not shared pretty much by any Christians outside the US.

    Out of interest,I've started a thread in 'Discussions' about the EU being the antichrist, if anyone wants to pop in there...

    Matt, I'm not saying that I am watching TBN to see who they think the Antichrist will be. I'm saying that the Antichrist will be one who would be able to book an interview or some air time on TBN. Revelations says that the Antichrist will be one who if possible could decieve even the elect. I believe there are many on TBN who are unknowingly ushering in the Antichrist.

    Brother Matt---Islam IS anti-christ! He who denies the Son----denies who else?? The Father! If you deny the Lordship of Jesus---God come in flesh---you are anti-christ!

    And that word "anti-" simply means "one who stands in the place of"----doesn't mean they are against Christ---it means they stand in the place of Christ----and guess what??? Last time I checked---Jesus stands alone! Amen???

    As far as WHO the actual Revelation Anti-Christ will be----your's and my guess is not as good as what God already knows! Folks should know by now that the actual Anti-Christ figure has not been named as of yet---but they also need to know that Islam is anti-christ! see?

    But, David, the Jews also deny the Lordship of Jesus (hence Jesus' strong words for them in John's Gospel - "your father is the devil") - does that make them the antichrist???!!!
