$3. for seedless, what a bargain, their a lot higher here. They do have have regular ones for $3. though. We are going to my friends house for a cookout and she is buying watermelon, I'm making pineapple upside cake, haven't made one in years, Rob was thrilled at the prospect of getting pineapple upside down cake.

The ones with seeds are seven dollars Katie!
I certainly hope you never bake me a pineapple upside down cake! I love it, but prefer mine without onion rings! ;)

Ok, is there an exact recipe for the ribs or is it a little of this and that in a slow cooker?

I like ribs and I like to cook. So bring it on. [IMG]

    Hi Kelly,
well, I myself don't see a lot in them, except they are so good, and easy to get them that way. But Diane and Sue like them.
    This is all I do,
I sprinkle them with pepper adn garlic powder(lots), and soy sauce(for that rich flavor soy sauce has), and put them in the crock pot, depending on how much or which kind you use, cook the like 5 hours, till they are very tender. Now if you want to put them on the grill, you of course want tehma little less tender, just cook them on real low heat on the grill. Or I usually put mine on foil in the oven, so I like mine almost fall apart tender, if you do this use a slotted spool to remove them from the crock pot. Use your favorite bbq sauce, I'm partical to Kraft on the low end of $ or KC Masterpiece or Sweet Baby Rays for more $$. I don't really do anything special to them. They are just so tender, and as you know ribs are not famous for tender. Unless of course you have a smoker. Like all the bbq's I've been watching of food network, their so beautiful they make you want to cry. For ribs!

Why thank you Katie! It looks delicious!
I'm getting sleepy, but trying to stay up late since I can. LOL
    Hey, here's a question.
If you babysit do you ask the parents to pay for items their kids damage or break in your home? I usually don't because it's usually an accident, but a kid broke my daughter's etch-a-sketch I got her at Christmas and it wasn't an accident. I requested his parents replace it, but I still felt bad! But they seemed to agree.
On another occasion an 11 yr. old boy took a permanent marker to the not-so-cheap dining room table. His mother refused to pay for it to be taken care of and acted like I was the most evil person in the world for asking, stating that if I had a kid in my care anything they did was my fault! I didn't watch them for very long, as their behavior was horrid and one almost severely injured my then 4 month old.

Weeeeeeeeeeeel, Blackbird got here as quick as he could!!! I just got through writing my Sunday morning message--too late for all of ya'll to sit and read it all in one nite--although Blackbird is sorta a nocturnal creature--he can stay up in the nite and he can stay up in the day--though Blackbird's wife sometimes accuses him of falling asleep while drivin'---don't tell nobody, though, it would hurt Blackbird's feelings!!

I'm gonna post the sermon on a seperate thread tomorrow morning before I leave for my sister's house down in Baton Rouge----CAAAAAAAAAAAAAAJUN Country!!! Not too many folks are bustin' the doors down to hear blackbird, though!! I've posted some of my stuff seperately--and its moved down the list faster than bacon grease down a dog's throat!! I'll try again, anyway!!

Diane, I thought about what you mentioned, too! But I ain't any good at addin' attachments and little diddy's you can click and it'll take you half way around the world to another window and all---but if somebody can coach Blackbird through--I've landed 747's on aircraft carrier flight decks before(it ain't never easy--but after once or twice I finally got the hang of it!!)--anyway, I'll see what I can do!!

See ya'll tomorrow--PS--I can drink the hottest coffee on the hottest summer day in south Louisiana---I can also drink ice cold tea in a cold wave through Alaska!! I'm tellin' ya, Blackbird feels "Cajun tough" today!!

    Your Southern Baptist preachin' buddy,
    Blackbird

Gina, I've done some baby sitting, but it was in their home. But since it was my best friend(WARNING, never baby sit for friends on a daily basis). I guess if they did it on purpose I'd say something. An 11 year old, now thats rediclous for him to be writitng on the dinning table, he is old enough to know better. And they did nothing about it? I hope you stopped watching their kids.

Blackbird, I was watching food network the other night and they were in Louisana doing bbq, looked good, and hot. Boy was I wishing I was in cajun country.

Well, it sure is lonely in here all by myself. I wonder if I should do some baking...scones, fruit teabread and Victoria sponge cake? Will anyone come in to eat it I wonder
