    Good morning all,

Rob, that is GREAT news about Sean! Give him a cyberhug for me!

Betty: It's good to see you! I know how busy it can get when we start raising our grandchildren, but we miss you in here!

Preacher: You make sure Agee sleeps at LEAST 8 hours straight after her double shift!

Cindi: After hubby's wreck, the Lord worked it out so he got a different truck (newer model) and walked away with the car dealer owing US money!

Another coolish morning, but the humidity is still at 94%! I guess that's better than the temp being 94º...

I need to go online and order Brent's paces for this school year from School Of Tomorrow. I may order them one quarter at a time. I'll compare prices and see which way is cheaper.

I brought in some homemade apple pies this morning that I made yesterday afternoon. Help yourself, but please clean up the crumbs you drop.

I'll have some coffee and one of Bitsy's biscuits with raspberry jam now,
    §ue :wavey:

    Good Morning Everyone!

Mmmm! Sure smells good in here. I start with a bisquit and save the pie for my morning coffee break.

(((((Sean))))) Rob make sure you give Sean his morning hug.

Preacher, I put a bag of nuts on top of the fridge for you to pay BH with. I can't believe she's already gone through the last bag.

Sue, does the place where you order your paces from have a website? I have a friend who uses them only the school she used for cover last year ordered them and doled them out. This year she is going with a different cover school and has to order her own. Her son ended up between grades last year, so being able to order a quarter at a time would be helpful.

We're starting the school year off this week as well. Cassie's orientation is Wednesday. I'll have to make a appointment to meet with her counselor and maybe teachers so we can get a health plan or 504 put in place for her. (She needs a 504 but I haven't won that fight yet) Chris' appointment today, is to get him started on new meds so, hopefully, the cognitive problems he's been having will go away. We have a lot to talk to the doc about. His new school is going to fight me on his 504 so I have to start that battle again too. Grrr!

You know, things are supposed get easier for moms when school starts, not busier!

MMMmmmmm Bitsy, did you make this jam yourself?

Hello....It is another lovely day here, and I intend to enjoy it to the full. Tomorrow it will rain and wife is taking the kiddies to the pictures,,along with two neighbor kiddies. I don't go the pictures,,the sinner....but I will enjoy not having anyone home. I am working on more cupboards, so will enjoy not having any viewers in my workshop. Wait!....if I don't have anyone in the shop, Who can I blame for the mistakes? Oh well.....

    Cheers everyone, and God bless,

Jim, one of the nuts in that bag!

Jim, just blame the wild squirrels!

Or better yet, take a nap while everyone is gone. When you have veiwers again then you can continue with the cupboards fully excused! :D

Mmmm Bisquits & Jam. Bitsy, how'd you know that Raspberry Jam is the only one I like?

I gave Sean his morning hug from his adoring "cyber-aunts". That kid is gettin' spoiled. He's only 6 months old, and he has three beautiful women who give him hugs and want to hold him. Enjoy it while it lasts.:tongue3:

Have to take Sean to the hospital in Ann Arbor for a doctor's appointment today. Going to ask about when his surgery is scheduled for too.

Trouble with bringing Sean to the coffeehouse is his "cyber aunts" get their hands on him(* sigh * lucky kid-that's never happened to me in here:tongue3: ), and he doesn't want to leave.

Thanks Bitsy, Sean is licking the jam & crumbs off my fingers. See Sean, I told you Bitsy was "sweet"

    Mornin, Late Mornin that is!
After i went to bed I remembered my route carries me over by the junkyard so I'll stop then. BH is sleepin peacefully in her cage, but she had to come home in the bag so she could guard her stash!
I actually did put her in a bag of peanuts one time...poor thing didn't know where to start or how! Bout never got her out!
Agee's still sleepin so I guess she will get enough to do her, I have to go get stuff ready for work so I'll pop in this evening I guess.
Oh, Jim...if ya make that notch just a bit wider, bout a 32nd it'll work better...here..let me show ya how....oops!! Got more wood???

    Good afternoon!

    Rats!!!!! I missed the party.:tear:

I'll see if there are any biscuits and jam left . . .

We were gone most of Saturday. A friend had his fifth birthday party at a place called Jungle Jym's. There is a roller skating rink on one side, and the other is like the play area at McDonald's and such, only about six times bigger! The kids had a blast. For some reason, they didn't wanna leave. Wesley has already informed us he wants to have a party there in Dec. for his seventh birthday.

I need to get the First Grade curriculum ordered, too. We are taping the science classes now, and will start with the rest the second week in August. It's going to be interesting doing one Kindergartner and one 1st Grader.

We're all full of homemade bisquits & raspberry jam.

We're too full to post...or move.

They sure were good while they lasted though.

I'm here too, but exhausted from our trip to B'ham. Been to tired to post!

Now I gotta go back out and get Chris' new medication. We get to do a lovely direct switch from one med to another without having to taper off the first. Wish us luck, this med is supposed to keep Chris from having so many migraines while not having the cognitive side effect we suspect the other med of causing. Doc took one look at the evaluations the school did and said there was a indeed a problem and it's not all my imagination (like the school tried to tell me  ). If we are lucky the med change will "cure" the issue, if not we'll have to explore other options (think things the school won't want to do).

All in all it was a good visit. Chris' migraine pattern has changed some for the better this summer. Yay! Doc was pretty happy about that, as am I. We won't have to go back for four months unless we run into a problem. I'm very encouraged! It would be wonderful to have a school year without so many problems and absences. (and money spent on doctor visits)

Oh and I have to thank Sue for saving the last few Coffee Houses into the Free for All archives! When I get busy I sometimes forget to mark the calander when one of the kids gets a migraine and I'm supposed to keep up with it. Well, in looking back, I found I hadn't marked anything for the end of May and I KNEW Chris had migraines in May cause his reg doc was concerned over the number of shots he was having to have. Looked back in the archives and there it was! All the times I had complained about Chris' migraines.

After the doc we came through and unenrolled Jenna from her gymnastics class she hasn't wanted to go to since she had her bout with mono. Then we came home.

I used to drive to B'ham every morning, work all day and drive home (120 mile roundtrip) and still have the energy to cook supper and do whatever needed doing. Now I live closer (only a 90 mile round trip), have a more comfortable car and can't manage to pour my own cup of coffee when I get home. I hope Jenna didn't spill anything on the floor when she got me a cup.

Okay, I really do have to go pick up this medicine and fix my poor starving children something for supper.

    See ya later!

Well, I went to school to work today and you know what they did? They refinished the gym floors! ACH talk about a smell! *shudder*

I didn't stay as long as I'd planned :tongue3: But that's ok. I can do so much at home.

    Good morning all!

Gayla: You didn't miss the party! It's going to last all week!

Cindi: I have saved all of the CH's in FreeForAll Archives. The addy for the PACES is www.schooloftomorrow.com. You can order one at a time or a whole year's supply. That's what I like about it. A child can even take FREE diagnostic tests online to see which PACES they need to start with...

Preacher: Tell BH to stop being so 'squirrley' and settle down. She's scaring little Sean.

Jim: That area is beautiful. With all those trees, I can understand why you have so many squirrels.

Well, Brent is reaching puberty and has started spreading his wings. <sigh> We're going to sit down together today and make up a new list of "House Rules" and specific punishments for breaking them. He will then have choices. He has to learn that he will be forgiven for making the wrong choice, but he will still have to pay the consequences. In my 'old age' and in the roll of Grandma/Mom, I have not doled out enough 'consequences' - but better late than never...

    Laundry day (after an eclair),

    Morning everybody,

Homemade bisquits & jam yesterday, and eclairs today, besides keeping the school running smoothly, laundry, and projects.
Is there anything you can't, or don't, do Bitsy?:flower:
Hot and humid here already this morning. Not complaining though, it's better then January in Michigan.
I found out yesterday that the doctors have some more tests in mind for Sean before they schedule his surgery, including another MRI to check the fluid on his brain.(wouldn't the doctors be amazed if they did the test, and the fluid was gone because of prayer??:praying: )
Wouldn't you know it?, I brought Sean in this morning and his Aunt Bitsy has come and gone already, and his Aunt Cindi, and Aunt Sue aren't here yet. Sorry kid, I guess you're stuck with me(and I'm a darn, poor substitute for your cyber-aunts too!)
Oh well, time to give change Sean, give him his bath, feed, and dress him.:love2:
No Sean, I can't do everything like Aunt Bitsy does, but I can take care of you just fine. He's not complaining.

    Rob

    P. S. - You're in luck Sean. Aunt Sue just got here. Maybe she'll watch you for a minute while I get your bath ready. Just look at her Sean, I know she'll melt.

Aunt Cindi's here too! (((((Sean))))) I'll be happy to watch you while your Papa gets your bath ready.

Not much up for me today except mowing grass and bathing dogs. Tonight we get our new belts in karate.

I'll bring Sean back in a minute.

    Papa's little pal

    Take your time Aunt Cindi.
Seans happier being held by you :love2: then he is with me. Huh! Go figure.

BTW Cindi, you know me as Rob, but Sean does know me as "Papa".

I agree how neat it is how the "super cyber aunts" can do everything while holding a baby, and do it all well.

Here's to the super cyber aunts!!!
