    Depends on the manufacturer! :D

Whew! 2 big hairy dogs brushed and bathed, much to their displeasure. LOL! Ava decided that while I was busy with Mishka she should take a romp around the neighborhood and chase a few cats. I sent Chris and his friend off to chase her down. 15 minutes later they still hadn't come home with her. By that time I was finished with Mishka, so I head out after them. I was smart and took the car though. I know good and well Ava can run faster than me. I find the boys at one end of the neighborhood coming from the next neighborhood over. I see something out of the corner of my eye and turn around. Ava is coming toward us from the direction of our house! She had led them on a wild goose chase and headed back toward the house! Smart aleck dog!

Now we are all eating a well deserved lunch and resting for a bit. It's gone and gotten to hot to mow right now, so I'll have to wait until after awards to do that. And waiting means I get to sew for a while! :)

    I'm awake! I'm awake!

Thanks for the break, sis. You two looked so happy in that rocker, I didn't have the heart to wake you.
Trouble is... now that Sean has cuddled with you, and gone for a ride with Cindi, he doesn't want anything to do with me.

    Evening,
Droppin one tired BH off, though she did nap on Agee for awhile, after we romped for an hour or so.
Have to be up at 5:30 to get Agee to work so I'm turning in.
We had Chicken Tenders & Biscuits for supper,....& BH tried to take a WHOLE biscuit away from me! Don't know what she thought she would do with it..it was bigger than her! I could see her tryin to bury one of those!!!

    Good morning!

Today, that delicious smell coming from the kitchen is fresh blueberry muffins. There is whipped butter to coat them with.

Coffee is finish -- tea is going.

Now, why have I been spoiling you all this week? I go back to school on the 7th, and we are going to Wilmington for a long weekend tomorrow. summer is rapidly coming to a close. *heavy sigh* No more holding the baby when I feel like it. No long leisurely conversations over coffee. No strolling in when I feel like it. No more running over to Cindi's to watch her wash the dogs. It'll all be over in short order. *sob* BH better stay in his chair though!

    Good morning all,

Bitsy: Does 'coat' mean the same as 'slather' with butter? If so, I'll take two of those muffins. They're my favs!!!

I had to break down and turn the central air on last night. Everyone was soaking wet and we were doing nothing but sitting! The temp wasn't really that bad, but the humidity was holding steady at 94%. It is also very hard to breath with that much humidity (at least for me).

We are in for rain and thunderstorms this afternoon so I guess I'll do my errands this morning. I only have to 'run' to 5 places, but they are all short stops (except for picking up Brent's new glasses and having the lenses tested in my old ones).

Pastor Bob and family will be here this week-end for his 25th highschool reunion being held at the Christian school he graduated from. This is the first reunion they've ever had. It should be fun for them. There weren't many kids in the school back then, so they are combining a few graduating years together.

Time to get Brent up and fix breakfast.

    HAGD!

yes! Slather your muffins in whipped butter!

I keep forgetting to tell you guys about poor Ron. Yesterday he had a sales meeting when he could get his boarding pass online, so I tried. We've done this before with no problem. BUT yesterday, I kept getting a funky screen that said he had to check in in person. I tried and tried and kept getting that screen. He tried when the sales meeting was over and got the same screen, so he called SW. Well -- one of two things happened. He's either been pulled for a security search OR he's on a terrorist watch list. The latter seems unlikely since he flies somewhere every week, but it does give you pause to think.

So the poor thing flies from here to RI without priority seating. Not a happy camper was he.

    Good Morning Everyone!

School starts back here on the 10th. Our first orientation is.....TODAY! The highschool requires photo id's that take time to process, so they always have early orientation. It's hard to think about my baby Cassie being 14 (today is her BD) and starting highschool in less than two weeks. :(

Worse, she'll be driving in a year! That is if I can keep T's truck running long enough for her to use. It appears that we're going to have to invest in a new head gasket. The thing is missing at odd times(again), running hot and going through a gallon of coolant every few days. Funny thing is, the oil doesn't look funny like you would expect if that much coolant was getting into it. T was considering me and him changing it out ourselves until he made the mistake of listing off everything that would have to be removed in order to get too the head gasket. I quickly made his mind up for him! It'll be bad enough to carless long enough for someone who knows what they are doing to fix it. No way I'm going go without a car for as long as it would T and I to fix it. I don't think it's a job we could do in just one weekend.

My day is planned out for me. Housecleaning, grass mowing, and a small celebration for Cass. We're having her party later when we can get all her friends at one time. The last week of summer is not a good time for a party!

I need to get to it. First load of laundry is ready for the dryer!

    Morning everybody,
Hot homemade muffins really hit the spot today. Thanks Bitsy. The Coffee House isn't going to be the same this weekend without your Southern cooking, and happy face.
We finally found out that Sean's MRI is scheduled for August 2 in Ann Arbor. The findings of this test will determine if his surgery is necessary to deal with the fluid on his brain.
On a brighter note, I have one happy little boy here right now. He's had his bath, been powdered and pampered, dressed, and fed. He took a nap with Aunt Bitsy yesterday, then went for a ride with Aunt Cindi. He was pooped last night. He says "Hi" to his adoring Aunt Bitsy, Aunt Cindi, Aunt Sue, and Aunt Gayla. I'll tell him later about his Aunt Bitsy going away for a few days. That'll make his cry for sure, maybe she'll stop by and see him this afternoon.
Please be in prayer for Sean and his test. We're praying that the surgery won't be needed. Every time He has surgery he has a reaction to the anesthesia, and it causes severe breathing problems. They always put him in Pediatric ICU as a precaution.
Hot and humid here with severe storms forecast for today. Good day to stay inside out of the heat. We'll look in again later.

    Rob and Sean
    (Sean's the cute little one)

That makes absolutely no sense at all, Bitsy.

You hubby is a frequent business flyer, what do they think he's doing going to do? Grab a stewardess and take over the plane?

I know that security is important, but the airlines know that the business traveler is the heart of their business, they should take care of them better. This is just a nuisance.
