    Good Morning Everybody,

We have snow flurries here this morning. Supposed to warm up later today.

Sue: Praying that your physical ailments are easily manageable with little disruption of your busy routine.

Gayla: Praying that the next treatment does it's job and the tumor-marker goes down.

Please pray for us that the current owners of the house we're looking at will accept the offer we made on the house.

Went to the doctor and got a flu shot yesterday. I have a new fanily doctor now, our former doc moved to Phoenix, AZ to be closer to his parents. Our new doc is a young guy who is really easy to talk to.

I brought in Homemade Chili, Crackers, and Hot Beef Sandwiches. Enjoy.

    Evening all,
Rob: Keep your snow please, although if you have any leftovers I'll take some.
I brought in some homemade stew-help yourselves. Dad is sick so I am just posting and running!

Hey - anyone have snow, I'll take some here!

Right now, I'm up at church waiting for DH. We had a major computer issue today and I was possibly going to lose ALL my graphics (Atleast 5 thousand!!) but we saved them. Whew! So I just came up to get a PowerPoint done for a conference we have on Saturday. It's done and I can rest now. OY - I've been here since 9 AM and it's now 9:30 PM!

It got chilly here today after some rain but that's OK. It IS November you know! LOL!!

I'll catch you all tomorrow. Hopefully I can leave soon (we took one car).....

Annsni and palagisislandgirl: I'll pm you both a glass of snow.

    Good Morning Everybody,

It is 33 degrees here with snow flurries, the forcasted high for today is only 40.

Sue: Did you tell your doc that you'd had a heart transplant? [You received a new heart when you gave yours to Jesus.]

Ann: I know what it's like to be down to one car. Look at the bright side: at least you get along with the driver.

Not much going on here today. Still waiting to hear back from the realtor.

I brought in Country Ham and Eggs, Sausage Gravy & Biscuits, Fresh-Squeezed OJ, Hot Coffee, and Hot Cocoa. Enjoy.

<sniff><sniff> It was only 32 here this morning, but we didn't get any snow flurries.<sniff><sniff>

    Good Morning Everyone!

Just wanted to let everyone know I'm still alive. This is an endlessly busy week for me.

Another day in B'ham for us. This time Cass has a neurology appointment. Already been to the gastroenterologist with Chris on Monday and the dentist for my own broken tooth on Tuesday. Still to go is the field trip to the B'ham News tomorrow.

Sometime along about Friday, I'll get to come spend some time on the BB.

Cuz, I'm still praying for your contract to come through.

Island Girl, you dad is in my prayers.

Ann, you up yet this morning?

Helen, pet the critters for me. I've decided that it is a good thing I didn't get that puppy last week.

Short hello! MK, consider critters well-patted...grin.

WE GOT A DOVE APPROVAL FOR THE DVD! That is enormous! We will find out the rating soon, but the Dove approval means they will carry the dvd on their website with a recommendation and a trailer. How cool is THAT?

More filming yesterday for the entire afternoon to get 30 minutes of footage which our team will pare down to 10 or 15 minutes for Grizzly Adams Productions, as they want some stuff on Barry's work.

It's about time for him! I'm so happy that people are finally starting to recognize this man's work and brains.

They asked us for a 'motto' thingy that will be a 'flag' on all the dvd's -- and this morning we were thinking of things like 'data before theory'. That has been his approach all along, so that may be what we choose.

    I'm excited for him.

And the animals are nagging me to get them fed. Time to come back down to earth...

Hey, I was up EARLY this morning! 7:30!! LOL!! But atleast I got my work done last night. Whew!!

Well, today is going to the allergist with Joanna after lunch to feed her shrimp and watch what happens. 4 hours sitting in the office with her should be interesting. Atleast we'll get LOTS of school done! LOL!

Oh - and my car is back and as good as new. :) I just need to remove the tape this afternoon and I'm all set. I love my minivan and I hate to drive other cars now! So I'm glad the old girl is back.

    Congratulations, Helen (and Barry)!

    Good morning all,

This is just a quick pop-in. I have to be at the hospital in an hour for a test and I haven't showered yet.

This afternoon is an appointment with an Opthomolgist, and tomorrow morning is the 'dreaded' appointment with the Cardiologist.

Please be praying for me tomorrow. I will leave home to drive to Springfield around 9:00. My appointment is at 10:00.

    Gotta run.

    HAGD!

Short hello and God bless you all. Two more days before a series of storms hits, so I'm off to cut trailers off the blackberry hedge and make sure the yard is ready. Gutters need cleaning....leaves are finished falling.

Got to order the free-range turkey from the butcher.

Lists of things in my mind.

See y'all later. Hugs to everyone.

    Good evening all,
Just a quick pop-in. I need to finish cooking dinner and I get the priviledge of contributing to Wal-Mart's payroll tonight. I can't complain-my sis started working there Tuesday night! Her hubby got out of the hospital last night. He is doing better. I brought in chicken, lima beans, roasted garlic potatoes and biscuits.
    Have a good day!:godisgood:

YaaHoo! It's Friday, I made it this far and I didn't drop from exhaustion! :D

I get to rest most of today. Might have to take Cass to the doc this pm. She started running a nasty fever about 3 o'clock yesterday morning and was still running it last night. I tried to get her in yesterday, but the docs was full. I'm thinking I need a doc that is less busy. Our old doc saw us when we called, so I'm a bit spoiled to that.

Other than that and straightening up this room and maybe vacuuming and mopping, I don't have anything that has to be done today! I cleaned the rest of the house yesterday after we made it home from Chris' field trip so he and Jenna could have company. The kids here are out of school today in celebration of Veteran's Day so they have the entire day to play and since they are occupied they won't be hollaring "Mom!" :) Folks, there is a method to my madness.

Right now, I have a couple of Chris' homemade blueberry muffins and a nice glass of milk in front of me. I left a basket of these on the counter for your enjoyment and I'm off to find out what has been going on here at the BB for the last few days!

    Enjoy your Friday!

Don't cry Cuz, I'll pm you a glass of snow too. Thanks for the prayers about the house, the sellers have our offer, and until the end of next week to accept or reject it. If it isn't God's will that we get this house then we know that He has something even better in mind for us.

    Good Morning Everybody,

Helen: Congratulations to you and Barry!! Recognition is sweet...even if it's a long time coming.

It is 32 and cloudy here, forcasted high for today is only 40.

I brought in Waffles, Eggs, Sausage Gravy and Biscuits, Bacon and Sausage. Enjoy.

    Time to get some w - - k done.

W - - k fascinates me...I can stand and watch it all day long.

    Good morning all!

Remember I was going to get those things done yesterday? Well.....

Our big meal is at noon. When we were done, I looked at Barry and just said, "I'm tired. Just really, really tired!" He told me to go to bed, he would take care of the rest of the day and that is what happened. He cleaned up the kitchen and I curled up with some hot tea and a good book and napped and read for the entire rest of the day. It was LOVELY!

So this morning I am fired up and ready to go. It feels great.

One day in seven. I guess God is always right, eh?

I appreciate that it doesn't matter which day, because I was sleepy on a Thursday! I told Barry to take his rest day today and I would hold down the fort.

Other than that, foggy here and a series of storms are due to arrive soon. It has been cold enough so that I know there will be snow on the mountains surrounding our little valley, but we should stay clear here on the valley floor. For me, that's the best of both worlds -- I get to see it and not have to shovel it!

    God bless you all.

I be enjoying my Friday evening better if T would get to makin' the pizza! He says he spent two hours sitting in traffic and needs to blow something up before he can cook! Just like a man to go play video games with the kids and leave supper cookin' for later! ;)

I have had a rather restful Friday. Never did bother to vacuum or mop. I did get my room cleaned enough to walk through. Finished a murder mystery I had started a while back, while the kids were playing at the skatepark.

Remembered when I got to the skatepark that I had forgotten to call the park and rec board about one of the ramps that needs to be fixed. I didn't have a cell phone with me so they probably still don't know. The skateboarders(and bladers) have gotten themselves a bad reputation because of the antics of just a few, so the city has banned them from everywhere except our little skate park. The boarders for the most part are just kids who think that their complaints will go unheeded and so won't speak up. It takes a red headed mean old woman like myself to complain if'n I want it fixed. So that will be at the top of next weeks priority list. Chris took a pretty bad fall on that ramp earlier this week. Only knocked the breath out of him, but the city doesn't need the liability that goes with unrepaired park equipment. And if the city is going to pass laws that make it illegal to skateboard anywhere else (and I mean anywhere!) then they can keep the ramps in good repair. Just my opinion. :D

Of course my real opinion is that the skate park can't handle the numbers of skaters that show up of an evening and needs to have a complete overhaul. They need to build at the very least another set of ramps and put in a shallow bowl for the older kids and they need a section of lower ramps for the younger kids. City council's going to love me when I make that suggestion!

Sooo what kind of trouble are the rest of you into?

((HUGS)) Gayla! I hope you feel better soon. I can't imagine going through all you're going through.

Just another quick pop in and post. I worked all day today (again) but I hope everything is all set up for the shower, conference and church service! SIGH!!!

I'm now off to run to find something for a wedding that we're going to tomorrow. I'm not sure what to get - it's a small second marriage and Bob's doing the wedding so I'm going to hit up Macy's and Bed Bath and Beyond to see what to get.

    Good Morning Everyone!

Today is testing day in karate. T will test for his black belt and I will test for my red. Red is two tests away from black. I never really thought my old bones would make it this far.

Since we need a good hearty breakfast for this, I've brought in bacon, eggs, bisquits and gravy. Fresh juice is in the fridge and the coffee is hot. I made a new pot after I drank the first one. :D

It is beautiful here in the south today. Fall finally fell and we are gettng some gorgeous colors. Later today I'll see if I can post some pics, if I can figure out how. High's are supposed to be in the upper 60's. This is my kind of weather!

Ya'll have a good Saturday and don't bother to rake the leaves until next week. I like seeing the color on the ground. :)
