    TO THE COMMON GROUND COFFEE HOUSE #31

    The only RULE here is NO debating, fussing, fighting, or arguing!

    I will try to be here to serve you; but if not, feel free to help yourself.

    First one in every morning puts the coffee on, last one out at night turns the lights off...

    We serve donuts, cinnamon toast (dry toast available upon request), crumpets, bagels, scones, croissants, brioche rolls, yogurt, salads, light lunches, popsicles, ice cream, homemade cookies and homemade pies, and homemade jams.

    We also serve coffee (with caffeine and without), hot chocolate, hot tea, iced tea, fresh squeezed lemondade and orange juice, cappucino, Mountain Dew, DP, DDP, Coke, Pepsi, Diet Sierra Mist, milk, milk shakes and Kool-Aid.

    If you don't see your drink or food of choice...just ask, we will do our best to stock it for you!

    Our aim is to please...come and sit a spell, enjoy the fellowship and come back often!

    As Christians, we are ALL on common ground...

    Well I'll have a Pepsi with no ice please! I may have most of my teeth fixed but they still don't like cold!

    Dan, where are the signatures on Google? I can find images but warning to all... USE SAFE SEARCH or you might get ugly pictures!

    There are just a few sigs on Google. I think Dan meant that he got his pictures from Google. So do I.

    Just returned from visiting my doctor. She is doing fine. She told me that the salt sea air is just what I need to get rid of my allergies. [​IMG]

    AWANA Clubs starts back tonight and I sure hope no one sends sick kids! Georgia is at epidemic stage with the flu right now.

    Talk to you all later tonight. I'll be gone til after 8:00 so enjoy yourselves! LOL

    Betty, I read that sea water doesn't dry your skin like regular water and is, in fact, good for your skin! Play in the waves for me! I have SUCH dry skin! Most of the itch is gone tho. The pharmacist recommended something called Sarna lotion and Gold Bond Powder at night in case I have a night sweat.

    Night Sheila and take care of that cold, they can turn nasty! Pleasant dreams!

    I must get supper out of the oven. Still doing low carb recipes and I bake most of them.

    I will pop back in after supper. I am going to make it an early night though. Hubby is going to work at 5:00am now, so he gets up when I do at 4:00. I didn't take a nap today either, so I am rather tired.

    Barnabas found me this sig and I love it since I love rainbows! Thanks, Barnabas!

    Came home tonight to the news that my birth father has been flown to a big hospital in the Tampa area with a stroke or something pretty bad. I don't even know where they live. Sad, huh? He's late 70's. His mother just died 3 years ago.

    I had 16 children and our husband and wife team helpers didn't show up and didn't call. Oh how awful. A mom finally came in at 7:20 to help us. Four children were new and I just got their names. Ug.... what an awful night!

    WOW Diane! You HAVE had a rough night!

    I am so sorry to hear about your father. Does anyone know which hospital he is in? Tampa is a big place! I will sure pray you get a restful night's sleep tonight. I know you didn't sleep well last night and no matter what we are facing, we can face it better if we are rested.

    Speaking of rest. I only got five hours sleep last night and no nap today, so I am going to bed.

    Sue, my brother, who is a recovering alcoholic and living in a travel trailer somewhere in some woods got a call on his cell phone. He called our mother who is not in touch with our father at all... and she called til she got our daughter. Since we're the only ones who go to church.... no one could figure out where I was.

    No one seemed to get any more info other than he was flown to Tampa. His wife had grown up in Lakeland, Fla. and I know they had moved about 8 months ago but I don't know where.

    I reread my post and see it DOES look like I say I personally had 16... LOL. It felt like it tonight! I have a tension headache now. Believe you me... teaching Cubbies is a labor of LOVE.

    Sheila! Poor kid! Gwyneth had a concoction she told C.J. about and it helped so much but I don't remember what it was. Maybe you remember?

    Prayed for all our friends tonight during our family prayer time and thank you all for your prayers.

    Nah! You wouldn't tease me if you didn't love me! Remember... I live in a house full of men! LOL

    Teasing doesn't bother me at all. My guys love, no LOVE to tease me. Jon's favorite thing to say, if I drop something, is... 'See.... That's why we can't have nice things!'
