    Good morning All!

I take Jan to have some medical tests this morning - echogram and a nuclear stress test.

    Would appreciate your prayers!

    Good morning Dan:

Will be praying for Jan. Let us know how it went. I usually get 'stressed out' over taking stress tests!!!

Hmmmm, it has been 27 years since I have had to entertain a six-year-old in the house all day in the summertime. I will have to try and find my 'thinking cap'. I lost it a long time ago...

    Good morning!

To Dan: Be assured that our prayers and thoughts are with you and Jan, as Jan undergoes these tests.

to Roger: Always an encouraging word, and we all know the quagmire of unbelief you face each day.

To Sue: Not to fear, if we have love in our heart as we deal with the little ones, God does the rest.

To Diane: Our greatest weakness is made srong in Christ. He doeth all things well. Sometimes we just have to look a little longer for the well part. When I think, Why bother, a little dog comes along and snuggles in for a rub on the head. A simple rub on the head, and he goes off content in his kingdom. May our precious Lord give you all a little rub this day.

    Cheers,

    Jim

    Good Morning Jim:

Thanks for the words of wisdom to ALL of us!

I just got my 'rub' for the day. Cassie got up and came in the living room and said, "I love you, Grandma". [IMG]

Breakfast first, then we are off to the 'Farmer's Market' (only open 2 days a week right now) for some fresh fruits and veggies before it gets any hotter or starts to rain.

    TTFN!

It is very hot and sticky here. I think thunder is forcast for later. Roger, do you not usually cut the grass then? How big is your lawn? Have you planted your lily yet?

I will look in later, been a busy day so far,

    God Bless

It's a hot day. I was hoping to cool the house last night but Anna insisted on her pumpkin pie, which I've been putting off making, so made that last night. It is a nice cool treat today though!

The only real plan is to clean out the hallway closets. I'm supposed to go over to another artist in town's place, well, YESTERDAY, as we were going to work on something but this week has been insane and today I'm staying home sweet home, plus I'd have to find a babysitter and I don't feel like it. *yawn*

Oh, my other plan. Make frozen melons slushies. Try it if you like melon! Cut up honeydew melon and freeze the pieces in a plastic bag, do the same with cantaloupe. Take them out, put 'em in the blender, then refreeze. Layer the cantaloupe and the honeydew in a clear glass. Very pretty, very cool. [IMG]

Hi All and thanks for your kind words!

Today was much better. The unruly child did not return and I had 15 today. All were very well behaved and really enjoyed class. We cut our Missions 3 segments with each of the 4 year old classes in at once and the others on the big playground which ran off lots of energy.

The one negative.... We painted patriotic t-shirts today with fabric paint and I helped all the others wash up but I'm red/ white and blue!

Lesson is all ready for tonight but I hope I can sneak in a rest. I did NOT sleep well last night at all. I must has bent my ear on the pillow or something and woke in the middle of the night in pain and then had bad dreams the rest of the night.

I have 4 sons still at home so I normally do not cut the grass [IMG] . Our garden is quite small.

We got to Gatwick Thursday and realised that we had left Mary's carry-on at Roy's house along with the lily :( . Our two older sons are planning a trip over later in the year so we are hoping to recover it then.

Roger says, "I have 4 sons still at home so I normally do not cut the grass."----those four boys---are they Billy Goats---or do they actually crank the mower up and push---and if they push is the mower "self-propelled" or is it a "rider"----or what??

Roger, and I thought it was only Rob and I who managed to leave things behind wherever we went. [IMG]

Someone better ask Roy1 to water the plant for you. I did try and explain to him that most plants like water and a feed occassionally. :D

    Blessings

Good picture of EVERYONE. Thanks so much for sharing!

But Roger; why are you always in the shadows (or would that be in the 'dark')? [IMG] [IMG]

Just popping in for a minute. Cassie 'helped' me make baked apples for dessert tonight. ;)

I did the laundry, cleaned the kitchen and made homemade barbecue (out of leftover roast) so I have my meal taken care of for tonight. [IMG]

I figured a rainy day was a good day to get these things done so we can be outside when it's NOT raining! [IMG]

    CYAL!

It is an old-fashioned rotary - no motor at all. They just have to push it! But I had to push it today.

Afternoon all! That is a GREAT picture! I hope to meet Sheila and Rob in Sept. too!

Well I got in a 2 hour nap. I took the phone off the hook and let Nick watch cartoons. I slept very deeply and am still a little tired. My knees ache. All that up and down day after day has really worked my knees. Ouch!

Only an hour til I leave for church! Boy what a fast day! Tomorrow we're to go swimming after VBS if the weather holds.

Jan's tests went well today - we'll get the results next Thursday!

They did have a bit of a problem getting her heart rate back down though.

We also found out the she has moderately high cholestrol - maybe she'll have to start behaving herself on what she eats.

Very hot today - high 80s. Rained a bit this afternoon - supposed to rain tomorrow with a high of around 70. Now that my garden is in - it can rain. But I suppose that the farmers still need some dry - in order to get their crops planted!
