Dr. Bob, Nick had 9 cavities at age 4 and the dentist blamed it on Apple Juice! He said it's worse than just about anything because of both acid and natural sugars! I had no idea. Nick had to have 4 baby root canals and the second dentist we went to (first one tied him down and hurt him too) uses laughing gas.

I have MANY dental phobia's from treatments as a child. Praying for little Cami Rose now!

We're expecting SNOW on Sunday! People are freaking out! It's to hit mid 60° today. LOLOL

    Poor baby.

Both Son and Bitsy had terrible teeth at that age. Son let them do anything and everything to fix them and never moved a muscle. Bitsy on the other hand wouldn't let them do anything! Her teeth were in such bad shape that we had to make the decision to simply pull them or put her to sleep and put on caps and maybe have to do it again within a year. We opted for pulling, so she has been snaggle toothed since she was almost 3. Her front teeth are finally growing in.

I understand the anxiety of having such serious work done on such a young child.

A different dentist may make for easier visits in the future. While the oldest two loved the first dentist, Bitsy hated him. We switched to a female dentist and she loves her and will let them do pretty much everything without me being anywhere near.

I have good news! Bitsy went back to school today! [IMG] She finally seems to be feeling better.

I'm not going to do a whole lot today because this evening I'm going to have a houseful of younguns. Both the older ones talked me into company. So I'm going to rest now in preparation for it.

It's warm here today, and was yesterday, but it is not going to last. Tomorrow rain moves in and we might even see a snowflake come Sunday morning. We'll see......I'm not holding my breath....

I got pretty lucky with my teeth other than them being crooked. I've got braces now and look like a teenager. Just a few more months though till I can see my pearly whites again.

What's the forecast down there Diane? You are only about 3.5 hours SE from me I believe. I am supposed to go over the mountains to Biltmore this weeekend but I don't know now with the expected snow.

Snow coming here for sure, question is only exactly when and how much. Not that I really care for football, but I hope it doesn't mess up the big game on Sunday.

I can hear the cheers outside in "LOVE" Park as I type. They're having an Eagles pep rally. City is getting psyched!

Granny, I just have this vision of you as this cute little lady with gray hair and lots of hugs to give. Am I right?

Granny has lots of hugs, but I think she's younger than I am!

Just got back from the eye exam for Brent and the Ortho appt. for Seth.

Brent's eye exam went fine and the insurance paid more than I thought. I got his eye exam (not sure how much that was), $170.00 flexible frames, and $100.00 shatterproof lenses with scratch coating and I only had to pay $47.50! I went in thinking it was going to cost me $270.00... PTL!

At this rate, hubby and I can get new glasses too! My last exam was two years ago and hubby's was in 2001!

Dropped Seth off at school and now Brent and I are settling in to finish our school goals for the day.

    Whew!

WOW SUE! That's a major praise! God is GOOD!

Allie, Granny is only 3 years older than me. [IMG] She walks 6 miles a day!

Isn't it funny how you can envision someone and are either upset or shocked when they don't 'look like' what you thought? Granny sent me pictures a while back. She's very pretty.

Granny also sent me a picture of her and one of her granddaughters protesting on the edge of the road.

She ain't got no gray hair - at least none that I could see in the picture.

Of course - only her hair-dresser knows for sure! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Mother used to give us bone meal when we were kids. My enamel was very hard. There would be what would look like just a tiny cavity - and the whole inside of the tooth would be gone.

Today - I have ten crowns (two of the teeth had root canals) and a three tooth bridge.

I used to break my teeth chewing fireballs! The good Lord gave be diabetes so I would quit chewing hard candy! (That's what I call looking on the bright side of things!)

Doc- will be praying for your granddaughter!
